Today marked a defining moment.

The team successfully reached Everest Base Camp, completing India’s largest inclusive trek. What began as a journey of purpose, resilience, and belief has now become a historic milestone.

From unpredictable weather to demanding trails, from moments of doubt to unwavering determination, every step was taken together. Every challenge only made the team stronger.

Today, they stood at Everest Base Camp as a symbol of courage, unity, and what becomes possible when barriers are left behind.

One shared dream, now a reality.

Today the team successfully reached Lobuche. 🇳🇵

At an altitude of 4,940 meters, this milestone was achieved after a challenging trek and the gruelling climb across Thukla Pass, one of the steepest and most testing sections of the journey so far.

At Thukla Pass, surrounded by memorials of climbers who lost their lives on Everest, the team paused to pay their respects, a powerful reminder of the mountain’s strength and the spirit of those who dared to dream.

The trail was tough, the conditions unforgiving, but the team moved forward together, showing resilience, courage, and unity at every step.

Now, stronger than ever, they stand just one camp away from Everest Base Camp.

The team has successfully reached Dingboche. 🇳🇵

Two camps short of EBC!

At an altitude of 4,360 meters, this milestone was reached after trekking from Namche Bazaar at 3,440 meters to Deboche at 3,860 meters, and onward to Dingboche, covering challenging terrain at every step.

Unpredictable weather brought rain, snowfall, and tough conditions along the way. The journey continued into the night, testing endurance and resilience. There were moments of difficulty, including health challenges for a few team members, but the team stood strong and united through it all.

Today, they stand together, safe, stronger, and in high spirits, ready to face whatever lies ahead.

The team has safely and successfully reached Lukla. 🇳🇵

After a delay due to challenging weather conditions, the journey continued by road till Ramechhap, followed by a flight to Lukla, ensuring a safe and timely arrival.

Often known as one of the world’s most dangerous airports, Lukla marks the true beginning of the Everest Base Camp expedition , with its short runway, unpredictable weather, and surrounding mountain terrain.

With the team safe, healthy, and ready, the journey now moves forward with renewed determination.

Honoured to be warmly welcomed in Kathmandu with such grace and tradition. 🇳🇵

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Ganesh Prasad Pandey, Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation, and Sh. Ovi Kumar Khatri, Ex-DIG, Nepal Armed Police Force, for their kind encouragement and support.

As Tinkesh Ability Foundation leads India’s largest inclusive Everest Base Camp trek, moments like these strengthen the spirit of collaboration and shared purpose behind this journey.

Together, this is not just a trek , it is a step towards redefining inclusion.

Today, we hosted the press conference for India’s largest inclusive Everest Base Camp expedition, bringing together participants, partners, and members of the media for an insightful conversation around the journey ahead.

We were honoured to have Ms. Chhonzin Angmo, National Awardee and the world’s first blind woman to summit Everest, as the Chief Guest.

We were also privileged to have Akshay Chopra as our Special Guest , an ex-Indian Air Force pilot, fitness expert, TEDx speaker, entrepreneur, and a leading voice in the fitness and sports space.

The interaction saw a lot of curiosity and thoughtful questions around the expedition , especially on how participants, including wheelchair users and persons with disabilities, will navigate the Everest Base Camp trek. These conversations reflected both the excitement and the significance of this initiative.

We were also glad to have representatives from Antony Waste and Naturaltein, whose support plays an important role in making this journey possible.

With detailed planning, safety measures, and expert guidance in place, the expedition stands as a testament to what is possible when inclusion is backed by preparation and belief.

As the team prepares to begin the journey in the coming days, this marks not just the start of a trek, but a step towards redefining adventure and accessibility.

A step towards building a safer and more inclusive workplace.

As the team comes together ahead of the Everest Base Camp expedition, this milestone marks our commitment to creating a space built on respect, awareness, and responsibility.

Tinkesh Ability Foundation is now POSH compliant , ensuring that inclusion is not just part of the journey, but the foundation of it.

With the expedition set to begin, the journey starts with the right values in place.
