Welfare Organization of IT Employees,Kerala Prathidhwani is a socio-cultural organization of IT Employees, KERALA. This is a non-profit voluntary organization.

This group was formed with a three dimensional vision to contribute to the cultural, technical and social aspects of our society. We plan to organize various cultural programs to keep alive and promote the rich cultural heritage of our country among the tech society. Prathidhwani will conduct vivid events in Technopark to explore and enhance the cultural values and to provide an opportunity to the

young talents among us to display their cultural aesthetics. The technical group of Prathidhwani has the apparition to share knowledge to the society. We intend to conduct technical sessions and training programs for IT employees to help them keep pace with the technological advancements and their applications. We have several colleagues in the Technopark,Infopark ,Cyberpark who are willing to lend their helping hands for the needy. Prathidhwani works in close association with ‘Jyotis’, a registered charitable trust, for such noble charity initiatives. This group has been a solace for many, providing financial aids worth Rs. 23 lakhs for several medical and educational needs since its formation in 2006. Prathidhwani will serve as a forum for employees to interact, do value building on each others ideas and strengthen the spirit of knowledge. Prathidhwani will be a platform to bridge the tech community with art and culture and develop a keen sense of responsibility towards our society. Prathidhwani welcomes all IT employees in KERALA to be a part of our journey..

കേരളത്തിലെ സഹകരണ പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിന് പുതിയ ഉയരങ്ങൾ സമ്മാനിക്കുകയും, നിർമ്മാണം, വിവരസാങ്കേതികവിദ്യ, വിജ്ഞാനാധിഷ്ഠിത വികസനം എന്നീ മേഖലകളിൽ മാതൃകാപരമായ ഇടപെടലുകൾക്ക് നേതൃത്വം നൽകുകയും ചെയ്ത ഊരാളുങ്കൽ ലേബർ കോൺട്രാക്ട് കോ-ഓപ്പറേറ്റീവ് സൊസൈറ്റി (ULCCS) ചെയർമാൻ ശ്രീ. രമേശൻ പാലേരിയുടെ വിയോഗത്തിൽ പ്രതിധ്വാനി – വെൽഫെയർ ഓർഗനൈസേഷൻ ഓഫ് ഐടി എംപ്ലോയീസ് അഗാധമായ ദുഃഖം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു.

ഒരു പ്രാദേശിക തൊഴിലാളി സഹകരണ സംരംഭത്തെ ഏഷ്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ തൊഴിലാളി സഹകരണ പ്രസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലൊന്നായി വളർത്തിയ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ദീർഘവീക്ഷണവും നേതൃത്വവും കേരളത്തിന്റെ വികസന ചരിത്രത്തിലെ ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ അധ്യായമാണ്. തൊഴിലാളി ക്ഷേമവും സാമൂഹിക പ്രതിബദ്ധതയും കൈവിടാതെ, ആധുനിക സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യയും മികച്ച മാനേജ്മെന്റും സഹകരണ മൂല്യങ്ങളുമായി സമന്വയിപ്പിച്ച വികസന മാതൃകയാണ് അദ്ദേഹം ലോകത്തിന് മുന്നിൽ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്.

UL Technology Solutions (ULTS) മുഖേന വിവരസാങ്കേതികവിദ്യയുടെ ശക്തിയെ പൊതുസേവനത്തിനും ഡിജിറ്റൽ ഭരണസംവിധാനങ്ങൾക്കും പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുത്താനും, **UL CyberPark** പോലുള്ള സംരംഭങ്ങളിലൂടെ കേരളത്തിൽ വിജ്ഞാനാധിഷ്ഠിത സമ്പദ്‌വ്യവസ്ഥയ്ക്കും പുതിയ തൊഴിൽ അവസരങ്ങൾക്കും ശക്തമായ അടിത്തറ ഒരുക്കാനും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിന് കഴിഞ്ഞു. നിർമ്മാണ മേഖലയ്ക്കപ്പുറം ഐടി മേഖലയിലും സഹകരണ പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ സാധ്യതകൾ വിപുലീകരിച്ച അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കാഴ്ചപ്പാട് എന്നും മാതൃകയായിരിക്കും.

A Victory of Youth. A Victory of Democracy. A Victory Against Injustice.

Today is a reminder that when young people stand united for truth and justice, their voices cannot be ignored.

This is a victory for every student who refused to give up, every parent who stood beside their children, every teacher who spoke for fairness, and every citizen who stood up for the values of democracy.

It is also a solemn moment to remember the 14 students who tragically lost their lives during this painful chapter. No student should ever lose hope—or lose their life—because of an examination system.

Prathidhwani salutes the courage, determination, and resilience of the students who led this movement. We are proud to have stood in solidarity with them in their fight for justice.

This is not the end of the struggle—it is the beginning of meaningful reforms.

May this victory become a turning point in ensuring that no student’s future is compromised by injustice ever again.

Education must inspire hope, not fear. Democracy must protect voices, not silence them.

Prathidhwani Welcomes Improved Compensation for Affected CorroHealth Employees

Prathidhwani welcomes the reported decision to provide an additional five months’ salary as part of the compensation package for the affected CorroHealth employees. While we believe this package is still not sufficient to fully address the impact of the mass layoffs, it represents a significantly better outcome than employees receiving only their notice period salary.

This positive development was made possible because the affected employees stood together with courage and collectively raised their voices against the mass layoffs. Prathidhwani is proud to have stood alongside them by organizing solidarity protests in both Technopark, Trivandrum, and Infopark, Kochi, demanding justice, fair treatment, and meaningful compensation for the affected employees.

We also express our sincere gratitude to all organisations and trade unions that stood in solidarity with IT employees and supported this cause. We thank the Labour Department for its timely intervention and the Hon’ble Labour Minister for initiating discussions with the company and facilitating a constructive dialogue that contributed to this resolution.

At the same time, this issue highlights a larger concern within the IT industry. Several companies continue to force employees into resigning through pressure and intimidation by HR departments, often without offering fair compensation or following due process. Such practices undermine employees’ rights and must come to an end.

Prathidhwani remains committed to protecting the rights, dignity, and job security of IT employees. We will continue to provide legal guidance, mental health support, and stand firmly with employees facing unfair layoffs, forced resignations, or workplace harassment. Prathidhwani will continue its efforts to build a more just, transparent, and employee-friendly IT ecosystem.

കേരളത്തിലെ ഐ.ടി. ജീവനക്കാരുടെ ക്ഷേമസംഘടനയായ പ്രതിധ്വനി, CorroHealth എന്ന മെഡിക്കൽ കോഡിംഗ് ഐ.ടി. സ്ഥാപനത്തിന്റെ കൊച്ചി, കോഴിക്കോട് കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് ഏകദേശം 900 ജീവനക്കാരെ മതിയായ മുൻകൂർ അറിയിപ്പോ നിയമാനുസൃത നടപടിക്രമങ്ങളോ പാലിക്കാതെ പിരിച്ചുവിട്ടതായി പുറത്തുവന്ന റിപ്പോർട്ടുകളിൽ അതീവ ആശങ്കയും ശക്തമായ പ്രതിഷേധവും രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു.

ഒരു സ്ഥാപനത്തിന് ബിസിനസ് ആവശ്യങ്ങളുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ തീരുമാനങ്ങൾ എടുക്കാനുള്ള അവകാശമുണ്ടെങ്കിലും, അത്തരം തീരുമാനങ്ങൾ നിയമാനുസൃതവും, സുതാര്യവും, മാനുഷികവുമായ രീതിയിൽ നടപ്പിലാക്കപ്പെടണം. വർഷങ്ങളോളം ആത്മാർത്ഥമായി സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ച ജീവനക്കാർക്ക് യാതൊരു മുന്നറിയിപ്പുമില്ലാതെ ഉപജീവനമാർഗം നഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്ന സാഹചര്യം ഒരിക്കലും അംഗീകരിക്കാനാവില്ല.

ജീവനക്കാർക്ക് മതിയായ മുൻകൂർ അറിയിപ്പ്, നിയമപ്രകാരമുള്ള ആനുകൂല്യങ്ങൾ, ന്യായമായ നഷ്ടപരിഹാരം, മാന്യമായ പരിഗണന എന്നിവ ഉറപ്പാക്കേണ്ടത് ഓരോ തൊഴിലുടമയുടെയും ഉത്തരവാദിത്തമാണ്.

ഐ.ടി. മേഖലയിലുടനീളം വർധിച്ചുവരുന്ന അന്യായ പിരിച്ചുവിടലുകളും നിർബന്ധിത രാജികളും (Forced Resignations) അതീവ ഗൗരവത്തോടെ കാണേണ്ട വിഷയമാണ്. ഏതൊരു സ്ഥാപനത്തിന്റെയും ഏറ്റവും വലിയ സമ്പത്ത് അതിലെ ജീവനക്കാരാണ്. ജീവനക്കാരുടെ അറിവും അധ്വാനവും സമർപ്പണവുമാണ് ഒരു സ്ഥാപനത്തിന്റെ വളർച്ചയ്ക്കും വിജയത്തിനും അടിത്തറ. അതിനാൽ അവരുടെ അവകാശങ്ങളും ആത്മാഭിമാനവും തൊഴിൽസുരക്ഷയും സംരക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടത് അനിവാര്യമാണ്.

Prathidhwani, the Welfare Organisation of IT Employees, Kerala, expresses its deep concern over the reported sudden termination of around 900 employees from CorroHealth’s Kochi and Kozhikode offices without adequate notice.

While companies may make business decisions based on operational or commercial considerations, such decisions must be implemented in a transparent, humane, and legally compliant manner. Employees deserve dignity, reasonable notice, statutory benefits, fair compensation. No one who has dedicated years of service should lose their livelihood overnight without fairness and compassion.

The growing trend of unfair layoffs like forced resignation across the IT and IT-enabled services sector is alarming and must be addressed. Employees are the backbone of every organization, and their rights and dignity must always be respected.

Prathidhwani stands in solidarity with the affected employees and all those facing similar challenges. To raise our collective voice for fair employment practices, we are organizing the “United Against Unfair Layoffs” campaign in front of Technopark Phase I on Thursday, 9 July 2026, at 5:30 PM.

Prathidhwani, Welfare Organisation Of IT Employees, Kerala Condemns Abrupt Layoff of 900 Employees from at Corro HealthCare, Demands Justice and Fair Treatment

Prathidhwani expresses deep concern over the abrupt layoff of around 900 medical coding professionals at the Indian operations of U.S.-based healthcare analytics firm Corro HealthCare from its Kochi and Kozhikode centres. The reported termination of employees without prior notice has caused immense uncertainty and emotional distress to hundreds of workers and their families.

While companies may take business decisions based on operational or commercial considerations, such decisions must be implemented in a transparent, humane, and legally compliant manner. Employees are entitled to due process, adequate notice, statutory benefits, fair compensation, and timely settlement of all legal dues. Corporate restructuring should never come at the cost of employees’ dignity and livelihood.

Prathidhwani welcomes the timely intervention of the Labour Department and urges the company to cooperate fully with the authorities to ensure that the rights and interests of the affected employees are protected. If the company is continuing recruitment at its other locations, eligible employees from Kerala should be given the first opportunity for redeployment before fresh hiring is undertaken.

Prathidhwani stands firmly with the affected employees and is committed to extending all possible support, including legal guidance, representation before the Labour Department, and assistance in securing their rightful dues and statutory benefits. We also urge all IT and healthcare companies to adopt responsible, ethical, and employee-centric employment practices, especially during periods of restructuring.

The strength of the IT industry lies not only in innovation and business growth but also in the dignity, security, and well-being of its workforce. Protecting employees’ rights is essential for building a sustainable, responsible, and inclusive industry.
