For the first time in Vallappuzha Village, a dedicated capacity building session on waste segregation was conducted for Waste Collection Partners.

Segregation at source is a critical step in accelerating the transition towards a circular economy, and it begins at the grassroots.

We welcome brands and organisations to collaborate with us in scaling more community driven sustainability initiatives.

Compost Awareness Week 🌱

Composting is one of the simplest ways to manage wet waste. When we compost at home, dry waste stays clean, recycling improves, and less waste ends up polluting our environment.

But once wet and dry waste are mixed, recovery becomes difficult, costly, and inefficient.

Start simple:
♻️ Segregate at source
🌿 Compost your wet waste
🧴 Keep dry waste clean for recycling

Small actions decide whether waste becomes a burden or a resource.

Kickstart your zero-waste journey today. 💚

Calicut Beach, great food, and good company—the perfect recipe for an evening out. 🌅 But what happens to the wrappers, cups, and plates once the snacking is done?

We all love gathering at our city’s vibrant food courts, but leaving trash behind washes away the beauty of the spaces we share. Real change starts with civic sense, and sometimes, the best way to spark that change is through play!
To bring this message to life, the team recently hit the Calicut Beach food court with an interactive sensitisation game! 🎲♻️
Instead of just handing out flyers or lecturing, we engaged the crowd in a fun, hands-on challenge designed to test and build their waste management awareness. The goal was to playfully yet powerfully remind everyone of a few critical realities:
• Proper disposal matters: Segregating and knowing exactly where your waste goes makes a massive difference to our ecosystem.
• It’s a shared responsibility: Keeping our beaches and food courts clean isn’t just the municipality’s job—it’s ours.
• Action over apathy: Small, mindful choices add up to a cleaner, healthier environment for everyone to enjoy.
By turning a serious topic into an engaging community activity, we saw firsthand how ready people are to do the right thing when given the right knowledge and a little nudge.
Let’s protect the places we love. The next time you grab a bite by the waves, take a few extra seconds to bin it right! 🌊✨
Drop a 💚 in the comments if you’re committed to keeping Calicut clean, and tag your favorite beach-outing squad!
