On a Mission To Connet The world On Bicycle
We are extremely glad to inform you that, Rotary club of Calicut Uptown, Kerala, India (Club ID 73279, District 3202),commenced an “World Bicycle Expedition”
For the first time in the world Rotary Calicut Uptown's Young Rotarian s are gearing up to spread the word 2019-20 RI President-Mark Daniel Maloney's theme; "Rotary Connects the World", asks Rotarian s to strengthen the many ways that Rotary Connects the World, building the connections that allow talented, thoughtful, and generous people to unite and take meaningful action through Rotary service
Rotary Calicut Uptown Trans Asian Bicycle Expedition started from Kerala on 9th August 2019 and likely to reach Singapore by 12th December 2019. Our Riders will be covering 7 countries clocking 8000+ Kilometres, during their expedition of 4 months. They will travel through India, Bhutan, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and expecting to connect most of the Rotary clubs en route.
Trans Asia Bicycle Expedition has already celebrated and supported by a whole country, with such great acceptance and experience no cyclist has ever touched the world.. This is a great achievement of Rotary and the generous sacrifice of this young gentleman.
