If a child’s day starts with work and ends with work, when do they get to study? When do they learn the fun sentences we can make with the alphabet? When do they giggle at a joke their friend said in the middle of class? When do they grow?

These questions keep returning every year. But with each child we support through our schools, it’s one less we have to worry about 🤍

Meet Nimmy, the problem-solving Project Manager who’d rather talk to kids than to adults. (In her words, ‘I can completely be myself with them!’)

She’s one of the people who’ve been with us as we started new adventures, changed tracks, built new plans, and executed them, all while working towards our goal of empowering children to develop holistically.

Her work has had a huge impact on what we do, but she finds happiness in the smallest things, like guessing a bird by its call or a butterfly by its colour.

She has been one of the biggest supporters of our efforts to make art and theatre a part of learning over the years she has been with us, and we hope for many more such fruitful years to come 💛

Holistic development starts with the all-around growth of children, but can only be pushed forward through the development of the community. And what better way to develop society than through the development of mothers?

Our training sessions for moms started it, but it’s the women’s effort and skill that truly made this possible. So this event also celebrated the first step on their journey from learning to earning 💌
