Ananta Seva Foundation believes Empowering women in rural areas through tailoring is a high-impact strategy because it bridges the gap between traditional skills and modern market demand. It provides a low-entry-barrier path to financial independence while fostering a sense of community development.
Sampornaa, a project launched recently under CSR program of the Manipal Group offers a foundation for skill development and motivating the beneficiaries to ensure they create products that are competitive and marketable. Conceptualized and managed by Ananta Seva Foundation, in the year of inception, Sampornaa project is empowering 60 women hailing from lower income families to make a new beginning towards their journey of financial independence and empowerment.
An event to felicitate a group of beneficiaries was held on Saturday, 14th March 2026 at Basanti, South 24 Paragana. On the occasion, sewing machines and kits were handed over to the beneficiaries who were very happy and excited to start their journey as entrepreneurs. Representatives of the Manipal Group and Ananta Seva Foundation were also present on the occasion and interacted with the Sampornaa beneficiaries.

Empowerment of Women is necessary to make them equal partners in social development and equip them to make choices in order to actualize their self-worthiness. Manipal Business Solutions launched "Sampornaa" a CSR project to empower women to lead a life of financial independence by offering training and equipping them with resources. Tailoring is often seen as one of the components of the salutation for women empowerment in different areas especially in rural places.

Sampornaa launched in December 2025 has identified 60 women from lower income families who have the drive and desire to make a living out of tailoring and stitching. Selected after a due diligence, these women promise to be the torchbearers of women empowerment and social equality.

Fighting malnutrition in India is a massive, multi-front effort. While the country has made significant economic strides, it still carries a heavy share of the global burden of undernutrition, alongside a huge issue of iron deficiency for the lactating mothers.
As of 2026, the country has started to move beyond just "providing food" to focusing on targeted nutrition and behavioral change.
Manipal Business Solutions under the guidance of TMG Sunidhi Foundation Trust initiated a targeted project, NRICH under CSR program in 2025-26 by starting a pilot with 100 children in the age bracket of 6 months to 3 years. The project launched on Children's Day 2025, proposes to identify the kids and work with the mothers to create awareness, counseling by a qualified nutritionist to help behavioral change, and finally, offering nutritional supplements to the kids.

An event was organized on 24th February 2026 at Shibganj, South 24 Paraganas in West Bengal. This district has a high concentration of both malnourished children as well as mothers with iron deficiency. About 50 mothers attended with their kids who were personally counseled by Ms Sayantani Chatterjee, Popular Nutrition Coach of Kolkata. She explained how simple homemade food can be useful to fight malnutrition for their kids. Later, Hampers of Nutritional Supplement was handed over to the mothers for their kids. The project is managed by Ananta Seva Foundation, CSR partner of Manipal Business Solutions. On this occasion a helpline number was shared with the ladies where they can contact to get their queries responded to by Ms Chatterjee. The mothers were visibly moved by the great gesture by the Manipal Group.
