"TEARS" is social organisation to help street children to regain their Joy's and security in their lives. The organization has been started it's function a few year's back picking up children from Railway platforms, who were facing various problem due to extreme poverty, exploitation and stigma. TEARS operate a day care centre just opposite to Howrah Railway station River side, we take care of the

street children addicted to solvent around Howrah station and try to bring them back to the main stream of the society. We strongly believe that these street children can be brought back to the main stream of the society, through our vigorous persuation which may some how cause reduction of corruption in the society. Smt Gita Routh has played a vital role with her strong will power and dedicated service, and we are happy to say that some children at present here , who have changed their previous life style and now monitoring other street children in the drop in centre Howrah.
