A **Handicraft Awareness Program** organized by the **Ministry of Textiles** was successfully held in **Shidenur, Byadgi Taluk**, creating a vibrant platform for local artisans and craft workers. The program focused on empowering handicraft communities by spreading awareness about the **Pehchan Card** and various **Central Government facilities and welfare schemes** available to them. Expert guidance was provided by the **Central Government Co-ordinator**, who clearly explained registration processes, benefits, financial support, skill development opportunities, and market access initiatives. The session inspired artisans to formalize their craft identity, access government support, and strengthen sustainable livelihoods through India’s rich handicraft ecosystem.
