On this motto Ardhendu Banerjee was inspire by Swami Someswarananda and Mrinal Ranjan Chatterjee for doing some thing for the downtrodden people of our rural India . To serve this very purpose Ardhendu Banerjee formed a Non Government Organization Ujjiban in the year 2003 with a group of young Boys and Girls. Ujjiban started its function in the year 2003. The organization was christened and its logo was selected by by Mr. Mrinal Ranjan Chatterjee. Swami Someswarananda gave us a letter for expressing his consent to be our chief advisor. UJJIBAN was registered as Ujjiban-03 (03 indicate the year of start its function) under society registration Act 1961. Now Ujjiban-03 is registered u/s 12AA of IT Act 1961 & Ujjiban-03 is registered under Foreign Contribution (Regulation)Act. 1976 under Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
