Ecocampers , the name suggests a group camping amidst nature for its betterment. Motto of ours is the same. Ecocampers is a nongovernmental organization (Registration Number: S/IL99125 of 2012-13) which works for the betterment of the degradation of nature and natural resources and decreasing human wildlife conflict. Ecocampers have set out for its mission of making people aware of the nature and
the biodiversity around them and try to protect the biodiversity in an informal way. Conservation tells for awareness in the first row and Ecocampers are on the same track starting awareness campaign from the grass root level, which include the population that will become the intelligentsia of days ahead. Ecocampers are trying to fulfill the aforesaid measures by means of Awareness Campaigns, Workshops, Seminars, Nature tours and publications in scientific journals. Ecocampers have launched an e-magazine on its website to publish the details of the projects and research works going on presently or done previously by the members to build up a database, to present our works in a bird’s eye view for the viewers. It is an attempt to encourage nature enthusiasts to convey their ideas and works in a scientific manner by giving a platform. We also have a blog for the comments and suggestions of our fellow readers in our website as well. We are planning for a printed version of the magazine in near future.
