Wildlife Conservation Fund [WCF], founded in 2010, by Nadeem Qadri, Environmental Lawyer has a clear mission to save wildlife and wilderness across the J&K and Ladakh. Our story began in early 2000’s when we campaigned to protect migratory birds at the wetlands in Pampore, Kashmir against poaching. Today, we protect many of the J&K’s iconic creatures including Hangul (Kashmir Stag), Snow Leopard,
Brown Bear, Markhor, Western Tragopan and many more. During last one decade years, we have focused the power of our conservation work and management on Dachigam National Park, Conservation Reserves of Khrew and Khanmoh and Wetland Reserves in Pampore, Kashmir. We currently manage 2 Conservation Reserves & 4 Wetland Reserves, and educate students on important issues affecting our wildlife in the State of J&K.
