🌾 Millets Field Day at Bulura Village, Sankulei GP 🌾Millets Field Day was successfully organized at Bulura village of Sankulei GP, with the active participation of farmers and local leaders 🌱 Purushottam Sahoo, AAO, Harabhanga Block and Dr. Kabita Mishra, Agronomy Scientist, KVK, Boudh graced the occasion and guided farmers with practical and scientific inputs.BPC,SAA, Harabhanga Block,demonstrated a successful crop-cutting experiment from the field and explained the objectives of the Shree Anna Abhiyan. AAO Purushottam Sahoo highlighted the importance of millet value addition and government support schemes, while Dr. Mishra shared insights on crop performance, soil health, and bio-fertilizer use.Smt. BPC–SAA, Harabhanga Block along with Dr. Kabita Mishra (Scientist, KVK Boudh) visited the Crop Diversity Block (CDB) field at Nuapada village 🚜🌱. The visit aimed to assess the harvesting status of different crop varieties 🌾🌽grown under the CDB initiative.

During the field inspection 👀 observed crop maturity, yield potential, and overall field condition 📈🌿. 🌾 Two-Day Training on System of Millet Intensification (SMI) Successfully Conducted 🌾
👨‍🌾👩‍🌾 The training empowered farmers, CRPs, and progressive cultivators with improved and sustainable millet farming practices under Shree Anna Abhiyan. Participants gained hands-on knowledge on millet varieties, seed treatment, nursery management, SMI/LT/LS/intercropping practices, organic manure & pesticide preparation, w**d management, irrigation, and post-harvest technologies 🌱🚜

🎤 Expert guidance was provided by Purushottam Sahoo (AAO), Dr. Kabita Mishra (Scientist, KVK Boudh), and BPC-SAA, Harabhanga Block, who highlighted the nutritional, economic, and climate-resilient benefits of millets 🥣💪

🌍 This initiative marks a strong step towards sustainable agriculture, nutrition security, and improved livelihoods in tribal and rainfed areas of Odisha.

🌾🎉 Millets Field Day Celebration – Kelakata Village 🎉🌾

Kelakata village recently hosted an energetic Millets Field Day, bringing together farmers, officials, and community members for a day of learning and inspiration 🌱✨

The event was graced by the AAO of Harbhanga Block and DPC–SAA Boudh, who shared valuable insights on sustainable millet cultivation and its future potential 📚🌾

🚜 BPC introduced two successful crop-cutting experiments conducted in the fields of Jyoti Ranjan Pradhan and Sartik Pradhan, showcasing impressive yield performance 📈💪

🌟 DPC Jitendra Karji highlighted the mission and progress of the Shree Anna Abhiyan, encouraging farmers to adopt millet-based farming for better nutrition and income.

🧪 AAO Pyarimohan Purohit presented positive crop analysis results, while AAO Purushottam Sahoo shared practical tips on using bio-fertilizers for effective pest control 🐞💚

🌾🚐 Mandia (Millet) Awareness Rath Campaign from 19–22 Nov 2025 was successfully completed across Harabhanga Block, reaching maximum villages with inspiring community participation. The campaign was proudly flagged off at the BAO Office by AAO Shri Purushottam Sahoo, along with BPC Sitakanta Sahu, SAA team & Agriculture Office staff. 🙏✨

🌾🚶‍♂️ The BPC of SAA Harabhanga Block, along with the team members, visited the CDB field at Nuapada and guided the farmer to clean all grass from the variety crop, stressing the importance of w**d control for healthy growth. 🌱✨ Proper w**d management ensures the crop gets the nutrients it needs to thrive. 💪

Additionally, advice was provided on pest management 🐛⚠️ and water management 💧The farmer was encouraged to monitor the crop for pests and take necessary action, as well as maintain proper water supply and drainage to achieve optimal growth and a successful harvest. 🌟👏
