๐พ Promoting Millets for Nutrition and Sustainable Livelihoods ๐พ
Under the Shree Anna Abhiyan Project, YCDA is facilitating ragi transplanting activities across several villages of Khaprakhol Block, Bolangir District. Farmers are actively participating in the cultivation of this highly nutritious and climate-resilient millet, strengthening both household nutrition and sustainable agricultural practices.
Ragi, one of India's traditional "Shree Anna" crops, is rich in essential nutrients and well-suited to local agro-climatic conditions. Through this initiative, YCDA is working closely with farming communities to revive millet cultivation, improve food security, and promote climate-smart agriculture.
Together, we are building healthier communities and a more resilient future for our farmers.
