Lifelong learning is one of our deep values at Dularia, and each of our village members grows in this direction every year. This summer Fulkoli Di chose to learn sewing, to add to her already numerous skills of mud building and mat weaving. Here you see her sewing in the beautiful mud cottage she has plastered herself. She’s been making beautiful carry bags for the mats she weaves as well as shopping bags upcycled from old jeans. We hope this can reduce the mound of clothes being discarded every year even in villages. If you’re interested in ordering one of her custom-sized mats or bags, do let us know!

Dayal Kora is our wonderful new addition to the Dularia team. Dayal belongs to the Kora tribe and is from the small village of Rindanga. He’s an incredibly dedicated gardener and has already changed the face of our farm with his creativity and commitment to learn and grow. He’s also a naturally gifted teacher. We’d love to send Dayal for further training to get his Permaculture Certification from and we’re currently looking for financial contributions for this cause. If you’d like to support us, please dm for details. Your contribution will go towards enabling Dayal to teach permaculture to his fellow village members, as well as to earn a dignified income through it.
