Support to a Differently Abled Artisan

Mr. Dinesh Basumatari, aged 45, a resident of Village Koilajuli, is the head of a family consisting of six members. Previously, he earned his livelihood through agriculture. However, for the past year he has been physically handicapped in both legs due to an unknown illness, which made it difficult for him to continue his agricultural work.

Despite his physical challenges, Mr.Dinesh Basumatari has shown remarkable determination and resilience. To support and maintain his family, he has started making handicraft items as an alternative source of income.

Recognizing his effort and determination, the CADAT team, a social organization, extended their support by providing necessary tools and materials to help him continue his handicraft work. This assistance will help Mr.Dinesh Basumatari carry on his daily activities and strengthen his ability to earn a livelihood for his family.

This initiative reflects CADAT’s commitment to supporting differently abled individuals and empowering them towards self-reliance and dignity.
