This year, as part of the , BHSWS teamed up with like-minded organisations to do something extra special in the Kalabera village of Puruliya District, West Bengal.

Our volunteers purchased various books for a mini-library that the children of the village can access. Along with books, pens, pencils, colours and other stationery were also purchased to be distributed among the children.

For the families in the village, a week's supply of ration, solar-powered lamps, blankets and clothes were purchased.

A special shoutout to the staff and volunteers of KBBS, Subrittyan and Jiyan Kathi who partnered with us and carried out the groundwork for the event!..

For them even winter is a disaster. At BHSWS, we want to help make this season a warm winter for them! That's why, we have introduced this project called - to distribute warm blankets, some food and a few other essentials like soaps and face masks to people living in poverty.⠀
