Huge Response to School CPR Training Program at Bharat Mata E.M.H.S. School
Bilaspur, August 22, 2025 – The second edition of the School CPR Training Program, a joint initiative of ISCCM and IRCF, witnessed an overwhelming response today at Bharat Mata E.M.H.S. School, Bilaspur.
A total of 166 students and 14 teachers actively participated in the session, making it a grand success and reaffirming the importance of equipping young minds with life-saving skills.
Building on Previous Success
This was the second school-based CPR training program organized in Bilaspur. The first session, held earlier at Arpa River Valley International School, received tremendous appreciation and encouragement. Building on that momentum, today’s training continued the mission of empowering students and teachers to act confidently in emergencies.
Program Highlights
• Students and teachers were trained in hands-only CPR techniques, emphasizing immediate response in cardiac arrest scenarios.
• Practical demonstrations and hands-on practice sessions ensured participants gained confidence in applying CPR skills.
• Trainers emphasized the theme: “Your Hands Can Save a Life.”

The program was conducted by Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) and Indian Rehabilitation Council Federation (IRCF), along with strong support from Rotary E-Club of Bilaspur United and ISCCM Bilaspur Chapter.

With the success of today’s program, the organizers reaffirmed their commitment to taking the campaign across more schools in Bilaspur and beyond. The vision is to build a generation of students and teachers trained to respond promptly during medical emergencies.
The program is part of an ongoing nationwide movement conducted in schools throughout the year, aimed at transforming India into a nation of lifesavers.
