CPR Training for Common People | A Step Towards Saving Lives ❤️

At the BNI Vyapar Mela, amid a huge public gathering, common citizens were addressed and trained in life-saving CPR skills — both from the main stage and at a dedicated CPR training area inside the mela.

The program was jointly organised by
Rotary E-Club of Bilaspur United,
Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) and
Indian Resuscitation Council Federation (IRCF).

Participants who successfully completed the training were awarded certificates, encouraging preparedness for real-life emergencies.

– Around 220 students and 15 teachers, were trained in life-saving CPR skills. The session was highly interactive, enthusiastic, and motivating, with students and teachers actively participating throughout.

💉 Dedicated nursing staff – Shivani, Hemlata and Nafisa from Apollo Hospital – gave their full support and guidance during the hands-on pract

आज Care-N-Cure Multispeciality Hospital में आयोजित Pharma Manager Association (BSPCGPMA), Rotary E-Club of Bilaspur United और ISCCM Bilaspur IRCF के संयुक्त आयोजन में शानदार सहभागिता देखने को मिली।

✅ करीब 35 Pharma Managers ने इस इंटरएक्टिव सेशन में भाग लिया।
✅ Hands-on CPR Training और Basic Health Investigations (ECG 40+, Hb, Spirometry, Medical Check) सफलतापूर्वक पूरे हुए।
✅ 5 यूनिट ब्लड डोनेशन Ashirwad Blood Bank के सहयोग से हुआ।

Today was a remarkable day – 126 students and 7 teachers, including the energetic cadets of Sainik School, were trained in life-saving CPR skills. The session was highly interactive, enthusiastic, and motivating, with students and teachers actively participating throughout.

👨‍⚕️ Dr. Baldev Netam, Post Graduate Resident from the Dept. of Anaesthesiology, CIMS Bilaspur, contributed as one of the lead trainers.
💉 Dedicated nursing staff – Mahi, Rashmi, Anchal & Laxmi from Care n Cure Hospital – gave their full support and guidance during the hands-on practice.
🤝 Rotary E-Club of Bilaspur United was proudly represented by PP Rtn. Prakash Maheshwari ji, adding encouragement and support to the initiative.

Rotary E Club of Bilaspur United Initiative

Today a total of 26 members and spouses were successfully screened today in the Free Liver Fibroscan Camp organised by Rotary E-Club of Bilaspur United at Care & Cure Hospital, Bilaspur.

✅ Screening was conducted using the latest ECOSENSE 402 (Abbott) machine.
✅ Participants included 26 Rotary members and thier relatives from different Rotary clubs across Bilaspur.
✅ Free follow-up consultation will be provided next week by Dr. Devender Singh, Senior Gastroenterologist.
✅ A follow up camp after 2 months is proposed to see the effects of lifestyle modification.

Huge Response to School CPR Training Program at Bharat Mata E.M.H.S. School

Bilaspur, August 22, 2025 – The second edition of the School CPR Training Program, a joint initiative of ISCCM and IRCF, witnessed an overwhelming response today at Bharat Mata E.M.H.S. School, Bilaspur.

A total of 166 students and 14 teachers actively participated in the session, making it a grand success and reaffirming the importance of equipping young minds with life-saving skills.

Building on Previous Success

This was the second school-based CPR training program organized in Bilaspur. The first session, held earlier at Arpa River Valley International School, received tremendous appreciation and encouragement. Building on that momentum, today’s training continued the mission of empowering students and teachers to act confidently in emergencies.

Program Highlights
• Students and teachers were trained in hands-only CPR techniques, emphasizing immediate response in cardiac arrest scenarios.
• Practical demonstrations and hands-on practice sessions ensured participants gained confidence in applying CPR skills.
• Trainers emphasized the theme: “Your Hands Can Save a Life.”

The program was conducted by Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) and Indian Rehabilitation Council Federation (IRCF), along with strong support from Rotary E-Club of Bilaspur United and ISCCM Bilaspur Chapter.
