India's independence gave us the freedom to preserve, celebrate, and pass on the traditions that define who we are.

Every handwoven textile, every embroidered motif, every folk melody, and every handcrafted creation carries the wisdom of generations.
They are not just art forms.

They are expressions of an independent nation's identity.
This Independence Day, let us honour not only the freedom we earned, but also the artisans who continue to keep India's cultural legacy alive, one creation at a time.

Happy Independence Day. 🇮🇳

Every masterpiece begins with a single line.

Long before the first stitch is embroidered, artisans carefully trace the design that guides every motif. What began with simple marks made using red soil and other natural materials gradually evolved into pencil sketches, pen outlines, and today, tracing paper and modern techniques.

The tools may have changed, but the patience, precision, and artistry remain timeless.
At LLDC, every step of this journey reminds us that preserving a craft also means preserving the stories behind how it is created.
