What greater validation can there be than others coming to learn from your work?

What began as a project in 2022 has evolved into a model of community-led rural tourism. Deogarh village in Chhindwara is now hosting its third delegation from Maharashtra, with representatives visiting to experience firsthand how rural homestays can create sustainable livelihoods.

They don't just visit - they stay, interact with the community, and learn about both the opportunities and the real challenges of building and sustaining rural homestays.

For us, this is more than recognition. It is proof that well-designed grassroots interventions can become scalable models, inspiring replication across states and creating lasting impact.

On 17th May 2026, 3 new Tribal Homestays were proudly inaugurated in Bajjarwada (Betul, MP) by Shri Durgadas Uikey (Hon'ble Minister of State Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India), Padmashri मोहन नागर (VP of MP Jan Abhiyan Parishad - MoS, Govt. of MP), Shri Mangalsing Dhurve (Member of Scheduled Tribe Commission - MoS, Govt. of MP), Smt. Ganga Uikey (MLA, Ghodadongri).
What makes a seemingly small event truly monumental? It is the undeniable gravity of real grassroots success. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐋𝐀 - the very same people who stood with us in February 2025 to inaugurate our first 7 homestays across Bancha and Bajjarwada villages.
Those initial homestays didn't just survive; they flourished. 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 ₹1 𝐭𝐨 ₹1.5 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐡 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫. But the true triumph isn't measured in currency - it is measured in footsteps coming home. 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐧. Young men and women who once had to pack their bags for distant cities are now returning to their roots, taking pride in their heritage, and successfully running their own businesses right where they belong.
𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦; 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬. And the most beautiful part? 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠.

3 new Tribal Homestays in Bajjarwada village of Betul district (Madhya Pradesh) got inaugurated on 17th May '26 by Shri Durgadas Uikey (Hon'ble Minister of State, Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India) in presence of Padmashri मोहन नागर (Vice-president, MP Jan Abhiyan Parishad - Minister of State, Govt. of MP), Shri Mangalsing Dhurve (Member, MP Scheduled Tribe Commission - Minister of State, Govt. of MP) and Smt. Ganga Uikey (MLA, Ghodadongri).
These homestays are empowering tribal women as well as bringing back migrated men to their villages. Tribal Tourism has given a strong additional source of income for the tribal people, especially for landless, marginal & small landholders, this is boon.

We are pleased to share that B2V formalized an MoU with Northern India Textile Research Association (NITRA), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, in the presence of Shri Giriraj Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Textiles, Government of India.
Through this collaboration, B2V will promote the farming of milkweed as a sustainable and climate-resilient alternative source of fabric. Milkweed offers strong promise as a fibre that is lightweight, thermally insulating, biodegradable, and aligned with the need for materials that support both environmental sustainability and resilient rural livelihoods.
This partnership reflects our commitment to linking climate resilience, innovation, and livelihood opportunities at the grassroots.
