Kerala Kala Samiti, Bhubaneswar had the honour of hosting a special Dine & Meet program with the acclaimed Malayalam film director Lal Jose, a name synonymous with meaningful cinema and memorable storytelling.

Lal Jose has gifted Malayalam film lovers with iconic movies across genres—Classmates, Ayalum Njanum Thammil, Arabikkatha, Diamond Necklace, and many more. Known for discovering fresh talent and portraying real-life emotions with depth and simplicity, he remains one of the most influential filmmakers of our time. His journey from an assistant director to one of the most respected directors in Indian cinema continues to inspire film enthusiasts everywhere.

The event was warm, interactive, and filled with engaging conversations about films, culture, and the creative process. Members of KKS had a wonderful opportunity to meet him, exchange thoughts, and celebrate a shared love for Malayalam cinema.
