awn from varied walks of life. It works with many other like-minded organisations from where it gets disciplined work force to carry out rescue, relief and rehabilitation work in a systematic way. It made its first valued contribution in the aid of cyclone affected people of the state Orissa in the year 1982 itself. Since then it has been working for the social welfare & upliftment of the downtrodden and underprivileged. Be it flood, cyclone, famine, sunstroke or any form of natural calamity or accidents, the dedicated volunteers of UBSS have fought against all odds to reach the people in their hours of crisis.
