ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ମଣିଷ ନିଜର ଭାବନାକୁ ମାତୃଭାଷାରେ ଯେପରି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତ କରିପାରେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଭାଷାରେ ସେପରି କରିବା ସମ୍ଭବପର ହୁଏନାହିଁ।ବହୁ ବରେଣ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ବିଶେଷଙ୍କ ସାଧନା ,ସଂକଳ୍ପ ଓ ଓଡିଆ ଭାଷାର ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନର ଫଳ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ୧୯୩୬ ମସିହା ଏପ୍ରିଲ ୧ତାରିଖ ଦିନ ବ୍ରିଟିଶ ଶାସନ ସମୟରେ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ଓଡ଼ିଶା ପ୍ରଦେଶ କଟକ, ପୁରୀ, ବାଲେଶ୍ଵର, ସମ୍ବଲପୁର, ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଓ କୋରାପୁଟ ଜିଲ୍ଲାକୁ ନେଇ ଗଠିତ ହେଲା। ନେତୃତ୍ୱର ଅଗ୍ରଣୀ ଥିଲେ ଚିର ନମସ୍ୟ ଉତ୍କଳ ଗୌରବ ମଧୁସୂଦନ ଦାସ । ଏବେବି ଅନେକ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଭାଷାବାସୀ ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ଅଛି ଯଥା ଷଢେ଼ଇକଳା, ଖରସୁଆଁ,ମଞ୍ଜୁଷା, ମେଦିନୀପୁର ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ମିଶିପାରିନାହିଁ। ଅନ୍ୟ ପକ୍ଷରେ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଭାଷା, ସାହିତ୍ୟ, ସଂସ୍କୃତି , ପରମ୍ପରା ଆମ ଅସ୍ମିତାର ପରିଭାଷା ଆଜି ଧ୍ବଂସାଭିମୁଖୀ ହେବାରେ ଲାଗିଛି।ଏକ ସମୃଦ୍ଧ ଆନ୍ତର୍ଜାତିକ ଭାଷା ଇଂରାଜୀର ଅସ୍ମିତାରେ ଆମେ ପ୍ରାୟତଃ ଉବୁଟୁବୁ।ପଢୁଆ ବାବୁ ମାନଙ୍କ ମତରେ ଓଡ଼ିଆ କେବେ ଜ୍ଞାନ ବିଜ୍ଞାନର ଭାଷା ନୁହେଁ ବରଂ ହଳିଆ, ଅପାଠୁଆ,ମୂଲିଆ ଙ୍କ କଥିତ ଭାଷା।ଜାଣିବା କଥା ସାରଳା ଦାସ, ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ଦାସ, ଉପେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଭଞ୍ଜ, ଫକିର ମୋହନ, ରାଧାନାଥ, ଭୀମଭୋଇ ଆମ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ପୁଅ। ତାଙ୍କର କାଳଜୟୀ ସାହିତ୍ୟ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ଯୋଗୁଁ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଭାଷା,ଦେଶର ଷଷ୍ଠ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀୟଭାଷାର ମାନ୍ୟତା ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ। ଜାପାନ ଲୋକେ ଇଂରାଜୀ ଭାଷା ଶିଖି ନାହାଁନ୍ତି। ତଥାପି ସମୃଦ୍ଧ ସେ ଜାତି। ସ୍ୱଭାବ କବି ଗଙ୍ଗାଧର ମେହେର ଲେଖିଥିଲେ "ଉଚ୍ଚ ହେବା ପାଇଁ କର ଯେବେ ଆଶା, ଉଚ୍ଚ କର ଆଗେ ନିଜ ମାତୃଭାଷା"।ହେ ମୋର ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଜାତିର ଭାଇ ଭଉଣୀମାନେ ! ଆମ ଭାଷାର ଭବିଷ୍ୟତ ଆମ କାନ୍ଧରେ।ଆମେ ଯଦି ଜାଣିଶୁଣି ନୀରବ ରହିବା ,କାନ୍ଧ ଖସେଇବା,ଏ ଜାତି ବଞ୍ଚିବ ତ? ଖାଲି ଉଚ୍ଚାରଣରେ ନୁହେଁ, ଆଚରଣରେ ଦେଖେଇବୁ ହେବ।ଆସନ୍ତୁ ହାତକୁ ହାତ ମିଳାଇ ,ଆମ ଗୋୖରବ ମୟ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଜାତିର ହୃତ ଗୋୖରବ ଫେରେଇ ଆଣିବା ଏବଂ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିରବଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ପ୍ରୟାସ ଜାରି ରଖିବା।🙏🙏

The Kapdaganda, a beautifully handcrafted embroidered shawl made by the Dongria Kondh tribe of the Niyamgiri Hills, Odisha. Rich in cultural significance, this shawl is gifted during life events and worn at ceremonies, symbolizing love, sacrifice, and community. It's each motif tells a story:
✨ Green: Niyamgiri Hills
✨ Red: Sacrifice
✨ Yellow: Well-being
Motifs like leaves, axes, and eyes reflect their deep connection to nature and their deity. Traditionally, unmarried girls spend over a month embroidering these shawls as gifts for their future husbands. Sadly, this craft faces threats from modern trends, mass production, and design imitation.

Support these skilled artisans and help preserve a centuries-old tradition 🙏
Together, we can celebrate tribal heritage and empower rural livelihoods.
