On 21st August at 10:30am at the conference hall of UCCIL A National Seminar on Marketing, E Commerce & Scheme support for Women Entrepreneurs was organised by UCCIL in collaboration with MSME DFO ( Ministry of MSME, Government of India).The Program started with the Welcome Address by Dr Prabodh Mohanty President UCCIL. Dr Mohanty in his welcome Address stated that for a Samrudha Odisha the role of women is vital and such a workshop organised by UCCIL in collaboration with MSME DFO was a necessity.Shri P.K Gupta Director MSME DFO spoke on the aim and objective of the Workshop.The Chief Guest of the Workshop was Smt Rashmita Panda IAS Commissioner cm Secretary MSME, Government of Odisha she applauded the role of UCCIL in organising such a workshop exclusively for women Entrepreneurs.The vote of thanks for the innagural session was given by Smt Nitisha Mann IES ,Joint Director, MSME DFO Cuttack.The innagural session was followed by Technical session with the following topics :- Digital Marketing was deliberated by Mrs Sony Samal , Founder , 72 DPI, Product on boarding on MEESHO was spoken by Shri Gaurav Rastogi, Training Program Manager, MEESHO, New Delhi, Government e Market place (GEM) by Shri Sunil Kumar Expert of GeM, Marketing support by ORMAS by Dy CEO ORMAS Shri Satya Sunder Sibaram Paital.The Technical session II Covered schemes of MSME Department by Ms Samuchita Mallick GM DIC Khurda, Schemes of SIDBI by Ms Manisha Choudhary, Manager SIDBI, PMEGP Schemes by Shri Anup Kumar Bhuiyan Assistant Director KVIC, Schemes of SC/ST Hub by S.K Saha DGM NSSHO, Bhubaneswar and on ONDC by Shri Kamal Lochan Nayak,DGM NSIC Bhubaneswar .After each talk a success story was deliberated by different successful lady Entrepreneurs they are as follows:- Mrs Prajana From FICCIFLO , Ms Swosti Mishra from CII IWN, Mrs Samidha Satpathy from UCCIL Ladies forum, Smt Jyotsna Das from World Trade center, Ms Pallavi Dipak Rathore from Nari Shakti Committee of UCCIL, Mrs Narayani Pattnaik from Support Mrs Satyajita from Jindal Stainless steel Ltd ( CSR Promoted), Mrs Birangi Jamunda from TATA Steel Kalinga Nagar ( CSR Promoted) Mrs Suchismita from UCCIL Ladies forum.This is a first multi stakeholders Women Entrepreneurs Workshop wherein on the invitation from UCCIL the following organisations participated namely FICCI FLO,CII IWN, UCCIL Ladies forum, Nari Shakti Committee of UCCIL, World Trade center, Support and Women Entrepreneurs from Kalinga Nagar CSR Promoted by Jindal Stainless steel Ltd and TATA STEEL Kalinga Nagar.The women leaders who actively participated and were present apart from women Entrepreneurs were Mrs Prajana Chairperson FICCI FLO, Mrs Zubina Ali , Chairperson CII IWN, Ms Annapurna Chairperson Support, Mrs Bharati Behera President UCCIL Ladies forum, Mrs Smita Samal Vice President UCCIL Ladies forum, Mrs Reeta Patnaik, Secretary UCCIL LADIES Forum, Mrs Jayashree Mishra Chairperson Nari Shakti Committee UCCIL, Directors of UCCIL Present were Shri J.K Rath, Shri Giridhari Lal Sharma, Shri Kanhu Ranjan Prusty .The Workshop was coordinated by Dr Sanjeev Mahapatra Hony Secretary UCCIL.

On 31st July at 6pm at Hotel Mayfair Convention A Seminar" Enhancing Exports from Odisha s Opportunities and Financial Solutions"was organised by Exim bank of india in collaboration with UCCIL and FIEO which was inaugurated by Smt Rashmita Panda IAS Commissioner cm Secretary MSME, Government of Odisha.The seminar highlighted the Context setting was done by Aniruddha Barooha Regional Head Exim Bank ,Inaugural Address was given by Mr Tarun Sharma Deputy Managing Director Exim bank followed by Special Address by Chief Guest Smt Rashmita Panda IAS Commissioner cm Secretary MSME, Government of India she applauded such seminars are required to promote Exports in Odisha she applauded the effort of Exim bank, UCCIL and FIEO .A study done by Exim bank" The Odisha Export opportunities - Trade and Investment Roadmap " the study finding report was released by Smt Rashmita Panda IAS Commissioner cm Secretary MSME, Government of India along with other dignitaries .This was followed by a Presentation given by Shri Monoj Singh Assistant DGFT on "Export Promotion Mission " .Mrs Yogita Hatangadi General Manager Exim bank gave an elaborate presentation on " Exim bank Financial Solutions".This was followed by An Panel discussion on " Strengthening Exports from Odisha" and the Panelists were Mr Anjan Mohanty COO FALCON Marines, Mr Prakashuk Jain CFO FACOR and Mr Amit Agarwal CFO IFG Refractory the panel was moderated by Mr Rikesh Chand CGM EXIM BANK,This was followed by another Panel discussion " Institutional Infrastructure for Exports in Odisha" and the Panelists were Ms Sanuchita Mallick GM DIC BBSR, Mrs Juin Choudhary Regional Head FIEO, Mr Biju Assistant Director MPEDA, Dr Soumya Dalua Assistant Director Chemxil, Dr Sanjeev Mahapatra Hony Secretary UCCIL and Mrs Rajya Lakshmi Regional Director World Trade Center.The seminar finally ended with a vote of thanks followed by Lavish Dinner.More than 200 Participants attended the seminar comprising of members from UCCIL and FIEO.

On 11th July at 4pm at Hotel ITC WELCOME BHUBANESWAR. A Workshop namely " Unlocking Export Potential" focussing on Chemical industries and it's importance in MSMEs was held by UCCIL in collaboration with Chemexil a Government of India undertaking (under Ministry of Commerce, Government of India) With support from DGFT ( Directorate Of Foreign Trade , Government of India) and Ministry of MSME, Government of India and TATA POWER .The key objective of the Workshop was to sensitize MSMEs of Odisha on the Chemical industries and it's importance in Export market.The Workshop was chaired by Shri Pankaj Lochan Mohanty Additional Director UCCIL.The Chief Guest of the Workshop was Shri Hemant Sharma IAS, Additional Chief Secretary Industries, Home and I&PR , Government of Odisha.He emphasized on the role of MSMEs in the area of Export which is a new area for Odisha and thanked UCCIL for conducting such workshop for the first time in collaboration with Chemexil which would be an Eye opener for many MSMEs.Smt Rashmita Panda IAS, Commissioner cm Secretary MSME Government of Odisha was the Guest of honour she expressed her happiness that such a wonderful initiative was taken by UCCIL in collaboration with Chemexil, Shri Vishnu Kant Sahay Joint Director General,DGFT Government of India addressed the gathering and also spoke on the Export Promotion and different items exported to different countries vis a vis Odisha, Shri Shakti Vinay Sukhla Director Fragrance and Flavour Development Centre ,Kannuj who gave an excellent presentation on the importance of Fragrance and Flavour Market globally, Shri Pankaj Lochan Mohanty Additional Director UCCIL thanked Chemexil for jointly organising this workshop with UCCIL and hoped that it should be carried forward with active support from Government of Odisha, Shri Vishal Ganju ED Chemexil sincerely hoped that they would focus on Odisha together with UCCIL in organising many such programs,B2B initiatives ,Trade fairs and Exposure visits and thanked UCCIL for organizing this workshop within a short span of time.Two MOU s were signed one was Chemexil with MSME Department, Government of Odisha signed by ED CHEMEXIL And Director of Export Promotion and Marketing Government of Odisha and the other MOU was signed between Chemexil and The Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ltd ( UCCIL) for conducting collaborative Workshops, Seminars, Capacity building Program, Networking and Advocacy and Exposure visits this was signed by Shri Pankaj Lochan Mohanty Additional Director UCCIL and ED CHEMEXIL Shri Vishal Ganju.Over 200 participants participated in this workshop not only from bhubaneswar but different parts of Odisha.

On 8th July at OHUB a Training Program was conducted for Ms Saswati Dey (IFS) Director AMS ( Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India) . Following Resource Persons Spoke on different Aspects on Export prospects and Potential of Odisha which she wanted to learn.Welcome Address and setting the context was done by Mr Prafulla Kujur OAS(S) Joint Secretary MSME Dept and Director Export Promotion and Marketing, Government of Odisha, Special Address was done by Dr B.B Nanda Director ,Directorate of Economics and Stastics, Government of Odisha, Export Scenario of Odisha was presented by Mr Pradeep from PWC who represented P& C Department, Government of Odisha, Mr Kamal Kanta Sahoo Head FIEO ODISHA Chapter spoke vividly on Odisha Export Policy 2022, Strategic Features and Incentives and also gave a broad picture on the Export Prospects and Scenario of Odisha, Dr Sanjeev Mahapatra Hony Secretary who was a Special invitee by Export Promotion and Marketing, Government of Odisha spoke on Export Promotion Challenges and Opportunities of Odisha.Finally Ms Saswati Dey IFS Director AMS Summed up the learnings and spoke on the role of Embassies in Export Promotion.The workshop was attended by Exporters, Experts ,WTC ,PWC and other Government officials.The workshop was basically a focused Group on invitation from Export Promotion and Marketing Government of Odisha.
