Muribahal Pragati Farmer Producer Company Limited, promoted under the Central Sector Scheme for the Formation and Promotion of 10,000 FPOs, supported by NABARD - National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, is located in the migration-prone Muribahal block of Balangir district. It works towards strengthening farmers’ livelihoods through a structured vegetable aggregation and marketing initiative. The FPCL aggregates pumpkins and other vegetables directly from its farmer shareholders, improving market access and minimizing reliance on intermediaries. Through collective marketing, the company is able to secure fair and competitive prices for produce, leading to increased and more stable farm incomes.
