Julia ,a timid paraplegic puppy with completely destroyed hind limbs came to us about 1.5 years back.. both her hind legs had to be amputated one after another..yet this two and half legged girl never gets discouraged and you can always see her brighter side ,so full of life even with her disability ,Julia deserves a virtual parent to be called adopted ... Sita ,a Paraplegic kiddo yet a lovely soul who came to us around 6 months back as a small puppy who lost her sibling under a tractor and lost her mobility in the same accident.. the people ( some young students and their parents ) caring for the kiddos tried to cure Sita with utmost dedication by taking her to hospital and to shelter daily for physiotherapy sessions .. but her injury was beyond repair ,so Sita remained Paraplegic for her life and her care givers requested us to keep her at shelter as they were unable to take care of her due to her disability.. and Sita landed at AWTE eventually.. on this auspicious occasion of Maha Saptami ,we are looking for a guardian angel for our Sita ,who can sponsor her .. if you wish to be the one please WhatsApp @ 9910210797 for further details .

We are not the ones who only show good things happen in the shelter...When we run a shelter and you all help us in running this..we feel it's our responsibility to convey everything that happens 🙏,We are pained , heartbroken and hate ourselves to witness this with the dawn ..Our Shankar ,the smallest calf lost his life after falling inside this food chamber , He must have been pushed by other bigger ones ,and couldn't be able to get up ...This happened in the middle of the night and we weren't able to know about it AS SINCE LAST 2 MONTHS WE HAVE NO STAFFS AT SHELTER NEITHER FOR DAY NOR NIGHT DUTY...To avoid this kind of mishaps ,We always keep night duty staff ,but the one we had ran away after drawing his salary 2 months back.. Since then no one is really interested in staying in this rainy season in this jungle area ,to keep an eye on these animals at night, I stay in the shelter but as it's an acre of land ,so it's not possible to monitor the entire area throughout the night even through cctv...For day time we are managing with daily wage labourers...and at night this happened.. And we feel responsible for his painful death .We feel so helpless to overcome this situation.. Don't know about others but we always try our best to avoid these kinds of mishaps at our shelter ,People often ask us ,Do night duty staff really essential why you waste so much money on them ,they just have to sit back and take the money..Just see... For the last two months ,with no staff at night, everything was fine ,but just one accident in one random day and a life was lost..to avoid this one day accident ,we need to keep people for night duty . We again appeal to everyone..please help us find people ,as shelters do need them to take care of the animals they have 🙏🙏

Please don't start blaming here.. because it's us for whom you are able to even know about the incident.. we could have been chosen to stay silent on this .. and you would not be able to know anything .But that's not us .. that's not for what we had started an animal shelter in the city. When it was started for the betterment of Animals ... It should be ensured at any cost .
