The Chamber turned into existence in 2000 not merely as a forum for networking, but as a powerful enabler lobbying for the development of the economy and infrastructure in the rich state of Odisha (formerly known as Kalinga). In fact the Chamber has always recogni

zed the fact that in the new environment of society, industry and business, the need for Corporate to internalize and demonstrate their responsibilities to the society in which they operate is no longer a matter of debate. The Chamber's interest and operations range from organizing mega seminars and relevant events on the 'brick' industry to the new-age 'click' organizations. From financial services, insurance, banking and taxation to focusing on the environment and energy sectors, the Chamber's range of operations is diverse and evolving over time. The Chamber today is deeply involved in areas like Healthcare, Education, Energy and Environment, Information Technology, Finance and Banking, Corporate Governance, MSME Development, Manufacturing - to name a few and has now assumed a multi-faceted role. The Chamber is also firm in its commitment to catalyze growth all over Odisha and therefore, is continuing with its initiatives and will contribute to work in the same spirit in future. The chamber is managed by a team of successful entrepreneurs and Dr. Biswadev Dash is the President of the Chamber.

Kalinga Chamber of Commerce & Industries had a fruitful meeting today with Chairman 5T, where we discussed their bold vision for industrial development in Odisha. We were particularly impressed by their initiative to establish a special economic zone focused on green technologies, which is projected to attract major investments and create thousands of jobs in the renewable energy sector. Their unwavering dedication to attracting diverse industries and nurturing existing ones is truly commendable. As a token of my deep appreciation for their leadership and a symbol of prosperity for Odisha's industrial future, I presented Chairman 5T with a photo of Lord Jaganath, the beloved deity who presides over our state and embodies blessings for success and growth.
