​ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଯୋଗାଯୋଗ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଏକ ବଡ଼ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ! ରାଜ୍ୟର ପ୍ରମୁଖ ରାସ୍ତାଗୁଡ଼ିକର ପ୍ରଶସ୍ତିକରଣ (Widening) ପାଇଁ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାରଙ୍କ ତରଫରୁ ସବୁଜ ସଙ୍କେତ ମିଳିସାରିଛି। ଏହି ମେଗା ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ଅଧୀନରେ ଆମ ରାଜ୍ୟର ପ୍ରମୁଖ ସଡ଼କଗୁଡ଼ିକର କାୟାକଳ୍ପ ବଦଳିବାକୁ ଯାଉଛି।

Odisha’s Infrastructure Milestone: The NH-53 8-Lane Expansion

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is expanding the Chandikhole-to-Paradip Port section of National Highway-53 (NH-53) into Odisha's first 8-lane highway corridor. This ₹3,500 crore infrastructure project spans 77 kilometers and converts the existing four-lane road into an access-controlled, high-speed freight expressway.

The corridor links the critical junction at NH-16 (Chandikhole) directly to Paradip Port.

The alignment traverses four major coastal districts: Jajpur, Cuttack, Kendrapara, and Jagatsinghpur.

Enhanced connectivity to Paradip Port will streamline exports, making Odisha a more competitive player in global trade.

This ₹3,500 crore investment is not just about asphalt and concrete; it is the "Highway to Prosperity" for a New Odisha.

Odisha’s Golden Harvest Reaches London: 3 Tonnes of Amrapali Mangoes Exported.

​In a significant boost for local agriculture, Dhenkanal district has officially marked its entry into the international market for the current season. A consignment of 3 tonnes of Amrapali mangoes was successfully exported from Odisha to London, showcasing the premium quality of the state's produce on a global stage.

This milestone was achieved through the strategic guidance and institutional backing of:

- Directorate of Horticulture
- Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ - - -Empowerment (DA&FE)
-Government of Odisha

The state government’s focus on empowering local growers has been instrumental in meeting the rigorous quality standards required for European markets.

The export was spearheaded by three key local collectives, demonstrating the power of cooperative farming in Odisha:
-Madanamohan Farmer Producer Cooperative Society Ltd
-DKL Innovative Farmer Producer Company Ltd (FPCL)
-Kankadahad FPCL

This successful shipment is expected to pave the way for more frequent consignments, establishing Odisha as a reliable hub for high-quality mango exports.
