Unmukt - The Green Army
When Cyclone Fani ravaged coastal Odisha including the state capital of Bhubaneswar, the scale of destruction wreaked was something that hadn’t been seen for at least two decades. As many as two million trees had fallen in Bhubaneswar alone – young, old, fifty-year-old grandfather trees had fallen. Three members of our team met up with the City Divisional Forest Officer, with an aim to restore as many trees as possible.
