ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ଡିଜିଟାଲ୍ ବିଚ୍ୟୁତିରୁ ଦୂରେଇ ବହି ପଢ଼ିବାର ଅଭ୍ୟାସ ଗଢ଼ିତୋଳିବା ପାଇଁ ଇଣ୍ଡୋ ଆମେରିକାନ୍ ସେବକସ୍ ଫାଉଣ୍ଡେସନ୍ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଛି ବିଶେଷ ଅଭିଯାନ- ବହିଟିଏ ଖୋଲ, ଦୁନିଆକୁ ଜାଣ । ଗ୍ରାମାଞ୍ଚଳର ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପାଠପଢ଼ା ଓ ପୁସ୍ତକ ପଠନ ପ୍ରତି ରୁଚି ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରିବା ପାଇଁ IASF ସହଯୋଗରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଷ୍ଟୋରି ଟେଲର୍ସ ଫାଉଣ୍ଡେସନ୍ ରାଜ୍ୟର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟରେ ଗଳ୍ପ କଥନ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଆୟୋଜନ କରୁଛି। ମୋବାଇଲ୍ ଓ ସ୍କ୍ରିନ୍ ଆଡିକ୍ସନ୍ ରୁ ପିଲାଙ୍କୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରି ସ୍କୁଲ୍ ପାଠାଗାରର ସଠିକ୍ ବ୍ୟବହାର, ସୃଜନଶୀଳତା ଏବଂ ପରସ୍ପର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଭାବ ବିନିମୟ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରିବା ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ। କଳାହାଣ୍ଡିର ଚାନଚେର୍ ସରକାରୀ ଉଚ୍ଚ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଏବଂ ଭବାନୀପାଟଣା ସରସ୍ବତୀ ଶିଶୁ ବିଦ୍ୟାମନ୍ଦିରରେ ବିଶେଷ କର୍ମଶାଳା ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି। ଏବେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ୬ଟି ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ୧୦ରୁ ଅଧିକ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟରେ ଶିକ୍ଷଣୀୟ ୱାର୍କସପ୍ ସଫଳତାର ସହ ଶେଷ ହୋଇଛି। ଗ୍ରାମାଞ୍ଚଳ ଶିକ୍ଷାରେ ଗୁଣାତ୍ମକ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ଆଣିବା ପାଇଁ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଅନ୍ୟ ଜିଲ୍ଲାଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ ଏହି ଅଭିଯାନକୁ ଆହୁରି ବ୍ୟାପକ କରିବାକୁ IASF ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ରଖିଛି

Opening Books, Unfolding Worlds in Remote Odisha!

Through our initiative "Open a Book, Open a World," supported by the India America Sevaks Foundation (IASF), the Odisha Storytellers Foundation (OSF) brought interactive, story-based learning to rural schools across Nayagarh and Kendujhar districts.

In tune with the National Education Policy (NEP), OSF designed a holistic module blending Storytelling and Library Exploration.
Rather than just listening, children leaped into creative writing, activities, and group performances. Teachers actively participated, learning how to integrate story-based activities into everyday subjects like math, language, and science.

For many of these students in remote belts, it was a brand-new way to experience learning—turning school libraries into lively hubs of curiosity and imagination.

A heartfelt thank you to IASF for believing in grassroots learning, and to the passionate educators and children who made this journey so unforgettable!
