District Level Study Sharing Meeting on the Status of NEP-2020 under Inclusive Education was successfully conducted in Khurdha District on 10th April 2026.

The study was conducted by Ms. Madhumita Ray, Consultant, Aaina, who presented the status of Khurdha district, highlighting key findings and areas of progress.

The session brought together key stakeholders from ICDS and the Education Department, who shared valuable insights, field experiences, and progress updates on the implementation of inclusive practices aligned with NEP-2020. Representatives highlighted collaborative efforts to ensure equitable access, early childhood care, and support for children with diverse learning needs.

Successfully conducted an Orientation on Disability and Inclusion and Roll-out Meeting at Gopalpur on Sea from 07th April to 9th April 2026, with the valuable support of Azim Premji Foundation (APF).

The three-day program brought together participants to deepen their understanding of CBID (Community-Based Inclusive Development), disability rights, and strategies for effective grassroots implementation. It was an enriching experience filled with learning, collaboration, and a shared commitment to building a more inclusive society under the APF-supported project of Bhanjanagar, Ganjam.

Aaina organized an Adolescents Convention under the Healthier City Bhubaneswar (BBSR) Project, supported by the Wipro Foundation . Around 100 adolescents participated in the Convention of Adolescents and Health Ambassadors, creating a vibrant platform for learning and sharing.
The event enhanced knowledge on health, nutrition, hygiene, SRHR, menstrual health, and mental well-being under RMNCH+A. Interactive sessions promoted life skills, positive behaviour, and awareness of adolescent-friendly health services.
The convention was graced by MLA Mr. Anant Narayan Jena, Mr. Ghasiram Panda , Dr.Mamata Pradhan, and Dr.Girish Prasad Swain, who inspired adolescents to make informed choices and lead healthy, confident lives.

Successfully conducted an orientation program on Deafblindness on 20th March 2026 at Bhubaneswar.

A total of 30 SS teachers and educators from 3 districts actively participated in the programme. The session focused on understanding deafblindness, its causes, communication methods, and classroom adaptations to support children with deafblindness in inclusive learning environments.
