Location: https://goo.gl/maps/Jhd8zem3ukmLVP1v5 Dhamma Pala is one of the main centres around the world dedicated to the practice of Vipassana meditation as taught by Shri S. Established on 5 acres of land in May 2009, the centre has beautiful, quiet surroundings covered by lush green forests. It is situated about 16 km from Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh State, India. Goenka's visit to Bhopal in 1995 set the tone for the Dhamma Pala Vipassana Centre, which became functional in May 2009. The centre now organises all types of long and short courses regularly, except the 60-day long courses. Plans to provide separate areas and the infrastructure necessary for long courses have now been prepared, and once additional land is available, construction activities will commence. City Office
