🚨 ANIMAL CRUELTY IS A CRIME 🚨
Yesterday, a disturbing video went viral on Instagram showing a young man named Sagar brutally beating a small puppy after tying its mouth with a cloth. The footage is deeply disturbing and clearly depicts an act of animal cruelty.
According to the information received, the accused allegedly assaulted the helpless puppy out of personal anger. No matter the circumstances, taking out one's frustration on a voiceless animal is not only inhumane but also a punishable offence under the law.
It is reported that the matter was initially settled by another NGO after counselling the accused, and no legal action was taken at that stage. However, considering the seriousness of the offence, People For Animals Care and Support Foundation (PFA Bhopal) proceeded with legal action and ensured that an FIR was registered against the accused, Sagar, at Kotwali Police Station, Bhopal.
⚖️ Animal cruelty is a criminal offence. Appropriate legal action can be taken under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, along with the applicable provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, subject to the findings of the investigation.
🐾 If you witness any form of animal cruelty, do not remain silent. Report it immediately. Your timely action can save an innocent life and help bring offenders to justice.

Today, we received an urgent call about a dog who met with a severe accident near Hamidia Hospital. His condition was extremely critical, and he was struggling to survive on the roadside.
As soon as the information reached us, our team responded immediately and carried out the rescue without any delay. The injured dog was rushed to the hospital and admitted for emergency medical treatment.
We have named this brave soul “Veer” 🐶🤍
Despite immense pain and trauma, Veer is showing incredible strength and fighting hard.
Currently, Veer is under medical supervision, and his condition remains serious. We humbly request everyone to please keep Veer in your prayers and send positive thoughts for his speedy recovery. 🙏✨

THIS IS NOT INCONVENIENCE. THIS IS CRUELTY. 🚨
Last night, while our feeder was out feeding community dogs, a deeply disturbing incident came to light. Two women, along with two men on a bike, were forcibly relocating an old female street dog from her own colony.
When questioned, they claimed the dog was “sick” and causing inconvenience.
Instead of listening or understanding, they turned aggressive.
And then came the worst part —
they abandoned the helpless old dog in the middle of the road and fled, saying:
“Do whatever you want.”
👉 This is not just wrong — it is a CRIME.
👉 Relocating a street dog is ILLEGAL.
👉 If an animal is sick, it needs treatment, not abandonment.
A written complaint has been officially submitted at Misrod Police Station, and we expect swift and strict action from the authorities.

❗️Cruelty Is Taught, Compassion Is Learned | PFA Bhopal ❗️
Some time ago, our team received a CCTV footage in which a woman is seen standing with her young child.
Suddenly and without any provocation, stones were thrown at street dogs who were sitting peacefully at the spot.
The video clearly shows that the dogs neither harmed anyone nor displayed any aggressive behavior.
This incident is not only a case of animal cruelty, but the most disturbing part is that all this was done in front of a small child.
When our team tried to speak with the woman, she refused to cooperate and claimed that dogs might bite her child.
However, the CCTV footage shows no such threat or situation.
The real question is —
👉 What lesson is being taught to a child through such actions?
Fear and violence, or compassion and understanding?
After our team strictly intervened and explained, the woman’s husband contacted us and gave a clear assurance that such behavior would not be repeated.
Clear Warning:
If PFA Bhopal receives any further complaint against them despite this assurance, legal action will be taken.
Choose kindness over cruelty.
Animals are also a part of our society.
