A protest demonstration was organised today, 23 September 2026, at 3:00 PM, in front of Punjab National Bank, Indira Press Complex Branch, Maharana Pratap Nagar, Zone-1, Hoshangabad Road, Bhopal, demanding:

As per the call of the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU), a meeting of the UFBU Bhopal leadership was held today, Tuesday, 22 September 2026 at 5:30 PM, at the SBI Officers’ Association Office, Bhopal Module , Mezzanine Floor, SBI Head Office, Hoshangabad Road, Bhopal.

The meeting was convened to chalk out the programme of action concerning the demands and issues of bank employees, including the nationwide bank strike on 28, 29 & 30 September 2026 and the proposed indefinite nationwide bank strike from 26 October 2026.

After detailed deliberations and mutual consultation, the programme for the 23 September Dharna and the nationwide bank strike on 28, 29 & 30 September 2026 was finalised.
