We are pleased to share with our LinkedIn family that on the 4th to 5th of June 2024, Our Social Services wing "Integrated Socio-Economic Development Services" (ISED Services) with Samunnati has organized a Business Summit (Buyer Seller Meet) specifically focusing on market linkages of Input and Output business for FPOs. State heads of NABARD, NCDC, NDDB, APEDA, and SIAET have participated as special guests. The CGM NABARD graced the summit as chief guest. A total of 25 FPOs and 14 business organizations of national repute have participated in the summit.
The objectives of the program were as follows:
1: Capacity building, business exposure in Input and Output business along with market linkage for FPOs
2: Brainstorm with FPOs, business organizations, and stakeholders to develop business ecosystems with the necessary setup (Technical, Financial, knowledge transfer, market access, etc) required for the Sustainability and continuity of FPO business operations.
3: Discussion on enabling a sustainable framework for Integration of Village Level Enterprising Youth with FPOs and their capacity Building
4: Discussions with participating business organizations and FPOs for possible business potentials and collaborations.
Many business organizations of National repute such as Excel Industries Limited Mumbai, Premier Irrigation Adritec Pvt. Ltd., Samunnati, Lamifab Industries, Gokul Agri International Co. Ltd., Ef Polymer, Yara Fertilisers, Evana Electrical, Krishi Rasayan, Swastik, Etc. have shown interest in long-term business collaborations with FPOs.
All FPOs and Business organizations have expressed a strong need for enabling ecosystems such as:
1: Organize such business summits at the start of each agriculture season.
2: Business-specific capacity building of FPOs
3: Central Business Institution equipped with strong IT tools for end-to-end management of FPO operations and business activities.
4: Invitation of more and more organizations working in agriculture Value Chains.
5: Development of ready-to-use products and Promotion of a producer Brand for FPOs.
very soon, we are going to organize a few more business summits to integrate the business potentials of processed food, Feed & Fodder, Dairy, Animal husbandry, etc.
