Digdarshika’s Vocational Workshop at Nimhr Sehore , dedicated to empowering persons with special needs, was inaugurated by Mr. Rajeev Sharma, Joint Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, MSJE

The occasion was graced by the presence of NIMHR’s Director, Dr. Akhilesh Kumar Shukla, Digdarshika’s Executive Director, Mrs. Usha Upadhyaya,
along with other distinguished dignitaries and members of Team Digdarshika.

As part of the initiative, an Agarbatti (incense stick) manufacturing unit was also launched to foster sustainable livelihood opportunities and promote financial independence among beneficiaries.

During his visit, Mr. Rajeev Sharma shared valuable insights on inclusive growth and the importance of skill development. He interacted with the trainees, reviewed the functioning of the workshop, and commended
the team for their dedicated efforts in empowering persons with special needs through structured vocational training programmes.
