International Workshop Advances Agroecology and Peasants' Rights in Sri Lanka
Malabe, Sri Lanka – 2-4 September
The International Movement of Catholic Agricultural and Rural Youth (MIJARC) and the International Federation of Rural Adult Catholic Movements (FIMARC) successfully concluded a joint workshop on “Agroecology and Peasants' Rights” in Malabe, Sri Lanka. Delegates from tribal and farmer communities worldwide participated, with full representation from all eight Asian movements. Miss Rolly Rose Khalkho, MIJARC's Female Coordinator from Madhya Pradesh, India, actively contributed to the event.
