A bit late but better than never. Finally got the pictures from. IOCL!
It was an honour to be felicitated by our CSR partner IOCL on woman's day! Saksham-SERI also conducted a workshop for the women employees and all the women tried the cup and gave a very positive feedback.
Saksham has already given 2500 cups in 2025-26 to women of 53 villages. We would soon be completing our target of 3000 and planning to reach out to 15000 next year! Fingers crossed.
Thankyou all for supporting me.

Another day, another village! But this time quite interior. It was a beautiful drive through the beautiful green fields of wheat . Was called by this lovely girl Fatima who is on Gandhi fellowship and doing a one month stint there. I think it was the first time she was doing some real work in rural areas and not just ticking the check boxes. Poor thing , got a firing from me but by the end of the day she came to ask me for a picture and said "Ma'am I have learnt more in half a day with you then entire one month of my rural attachment". My day was made and we managed to cover two villages Kharap & Jaat khedi in Shyampur block of Sehore. 55 women tried and took the cup. Next time I:m sure Fatima will enroll five times the number!

Another day , another village. Always difficult to get that first woman to try the menstrual cup and share her experience.
After that there is no stopping. Women go back home and get their neighbours, friends, daughter's...Almost 78 women tried the cup!
It's exhausting to explain to every woman, get water from some house to make them wash hands, no bathrooms so got women to hold bed sheets and make a trial room but all worth it when they call up to.say how their lives have changed.

Crazy! Just waste of money. Also would like to know how many of the 3.8 million will survive.
With this kind of wealth, how many lives could be changed in a poor country like India.

India is witnessing what experts call one of its largest wedding rushes ever, with an estimated 3.8 million weddings scheduled in just 23 days this season. According to trade-and-industry organisations, this cluster of ceremonies is expected to generate trillions of rupees in spending, from jewellery and apparel to catering and travel. The surge is being fueled by a high number of “auspicious” dates, pent-up demand after earlier slowdowns, and rising aspirations for lavish celebrations. Retailers, hoteliers and service providers are all gearing up for the boom, while analysts say it reflects both cultural strength and a major economic opportunity.
