Detailed Entry Form/Google Form: Please WhatsApp to 9993062652 for the entry form or Google Form.
Competition Limitations:
Dance and Music Competitions: Only 60 entries will be accepted per day.
Bharathanatyam Margam Contestants: There will be 3 contestants per day, each performing for 45 minutes. These slots are reserved for senior professional dancers.
For anyone interested in participating, please ensure to submit your entry forms promptly, as spots are limited.
Competition Schedule:
Timing: Competitions will start daily from morning at 8:30 AM and continue until evening at 9:00 PM.
Daily Prizes: Prizes will be awarded every day.
This schedule ensures a full day of activities and competitions, starting early in the morning and concluding with prize distribution in the evening. It promises to be a packed and exciting event for participants and attendees alike!
Margam Competition Rules:
Required Items in Margam:
Alarippu/Pushpanjali
Jathiswaram
Sabdam
Varnam (compulsory, time limit: minimum 15 minutes, maximum 25 minutes)
Padam or Javali
Ashtapadi or Keertanam
Thillana
Time Limits:
Varnam: Minimum 15 minutes, maximum 25 minutes.
Other Items: Each should be below 10 minutes.
Compulsory Performance:
Each contestant must perform the compulsory Varnam.
Failure to perform the requested compulsory item will result in disqualification.
Stage Protocol:
Entry and Exit: How the contestant enters and exits the stage.
On-Stage Behavior: How the contestant behaves while on stage.
Anchoring: How the contestant conducts themselves while addressing the audience or introducing their performance.
Q&A Session: How the contestant answers any questions posed during or after their performance.
Scoring:
All aspects of stage presence and performance conduct will count towards the final marking.
