ISTD Bhavnagar is pleased to share our participation in the CARYSIL Bhavnagar Marathon 2026. Events like these beautifully connect the community through shared goals of health, discipline, and positive mindset—values that also strengthen workplace culture.

We sincerely appreciate and congratulate our chapter members Mr. Gopalsinh Gohil ji and Mrs. BEENA JAMBUCHA ji for participating and representing the spirit of active wellbeing.

The ISTD Bhavnagar Chapter, in association with Gyanmanjari Innovative University-GMIU–ISTD Bhavnagar Student Cell, marks its first official engagement following the signing of the MoU through a leadership interaction and training sessions at Gyanmanjari Innovative University.

This initiative reflects our shared commitment to strengthening industry–academia collaboration and fostering capability development among future professionals through structured learning, leadership interaction, and knowledge exchange.

We look forward to meaningful engagement and productive sessions with students and faculty.

On behalf of ISTD Bhavnagar Chapter,

As Chairman of ISTD Bhavnagar Chapter, I am deeply honored to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made our first-ever professional training conference in Alang a historic success. This event, organized in collaboration with Leela Group of Ship Recycling Yards, marked a true milestone—bringing world-class professional development directly to the heart of the global ship recycling industry.

The conference empowered the workforce with diverse and essential knowledge, covering soft skills, financial literacy, mindfulness and wellness, and AI/ML for working professionals. It was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Vishaal Soni, CEO of Leela Group of Ship Recycling Yards, along with Mr. Prabhat Kumar (Chairman), Mr. bhautik daxini (Hon. Secretary), and Mr. Shekhar Suman (Hon. Treasurer) as well as senior dignitaries from ISTD, including RVP (West) Dr. Raju Rathod and members of ISTD Anand Chapter, and distinguished trainers— Parth Pandya, Prof. Hem Bhatt, Mr. Devdatt Pathak, and Dr. Raju Rathod—whose expertise left the audience inspired and future-ready.

This milestone would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of our dedicated team and volunteers. I would especially like to acknowledge:

Mr. Bhanu Pratap Thapa and Mr. Anirudha Shetty – for their smooth and engaging anchoring that kept the program flowing seamlessly.
Mr. Manu Kumar Singh and Mr. Kalpesh Jethava – for beautifully capturing the complete event in photographs.
Mr. Brijmohan Singh ji and Mr. Yashawant kumar – for their thoughtful arrangements of breakfast, tea, and lunch, which ensured warm hospitality.
Mr. Bharath Rasamsetti and Mr. Vishwa Vijay Singh – for expertly managing the laptop setup, microphones, projector, and YouTube live streaming.
Mr. Abhay Pandya ji, Mr. Sahil Singh and Mr. Shekhar Suman ji – for arranging trophies and certificates that recognized and honored contributions.
Mr. Raval Rahul and Mr. Ravindra Prasad ji – for setting up the stage, Diya, and banners, creating a professional and inspiring atmosphere.
Mr. Alok Anand and Mr. vishal pandey – for efficiently handling guest registration, and the distribution of T-shirts, ID cards, badges, and files.

This conference not only set a “first in Alang” benchmark but also reinforced our vision that training and development should reach professionals where they are, without the need to travel to distant metro cities. It has created a social platform in Alang for continuous learning, collaboration, and growth—something we will continue to nurture as a Chapter.
