The biggest karate championship of Gujarat State "15th Gujarat State Shotokan Karate Championship"was held at Anand on 23rd and 24 August 2025 in which about 1200 karate players from 28 districts of Gujarat participated.

In the opening ceremony of this championship, the dynamic sports Personality of Gujarat State Dr.Arjunsinh Rana Sir Former Vice vice chancellor SGSU, Fomer OSD of Sports Authority of Gujarat was present as the chief guest. He encouraged the players and praised the work of the institute's Director Kalpesh Khatri.

This tournament is a center of attraction for karate players and parents of Gujarat because the high standard of this championship is maintained.
