Wheelchair Donation In Old-age Home

Rotary Bharuch Femina donated new Wheelchair (sponsored by Mona Singh) in Old-age Home to provide mobility, postural support and freedom to those who cannot walk or have difficulty walking, enabling them to move around, participate in everyday activities and live life on their own terms.

Official Club Visit Of Rotary Bharuch Femina By District Governor, District 3060

On 5th October, 2023, the District Governor District 3060, Nihir Dave paid an official visit to the Rotary Club of Bharuch Femina to witness the commendable progress and initiatives undertaken by the club. President Rt. Sharmila Das, Secretary Rtn. Shehnaz Khambati, Assistant Governor Bhavesh Rami, First Lady Vaishali Dave, District Co-Chair Happy School Kamaljeet Bunnet, Chavaj Sarpanch Pravdish Patel & Rotary Bharuch Femina members were present during the occasion.

The visit commenced with a trip to Chavaj village, where DG Nihir Dave observed the sewing classes designed to empower women, and admired the high-quality products crafted by these talented individuals.

Subsequently, District Governor Nihir Dave made his way to Juna Kasia Primary School, which had undergone a transformation thanks to the dedicated efforts of Rotary Bharuch Femina. The school received a fresh coat of paint, RO water plant Restoration , Solar Pannels installation, a robust Water Harvesting system and a brand-new Computer, all aimed at enhancing the learning environment for the students.

Later, a comprehensive meeting was conducted at Hotel Gangotri, during which Club President Rtn. Sharmila Das and Secretary Rtn. Shehnaz Khambhati delivered an insightful presentation, showcasing the remarkable array of projects successfully executed by the Rotary Club of Bharuch Femina.

New Interact Club Members of Jai Ambe International School sponsored by Rotary Club Of Bharuch Femina were installed during the occasion of Official Club Visit.
New members were also installed during this event.
Second edition of club bulletin 'Uthan' was released by District Governor Nihir Dave & Editor Madhulika Dasgupta.

RATRI BEFORE NAVRATRI CELEBRATION BY ROTARY CLUB OF BHARUCH FEMINA

On the evening of October 13th 2023, the Rotary Club of Bharuch Femina held a remarkable event, "Ratri Before Navratri Celebration," at Hotel Unity. This event was graced by the esteemed presence of District Governor Nominee Amardeep Bunnet & First Lady Nominee Kamaljeet Bunnet. The event was further enriched by the attendance of notable dignitaries including District Rotaract Committee Chair Manish Poddar, District News Liason Chair Archana Poddar, and Assistant Governor Bhavesh Rami, President Sharmila Das, Secretary Shehnaz Khambhati, Event chair Madhulika Dasgupta & other Femina members.

Members of Rotary Femina gathered to celebrate the vibrant spirit of Navratri with immense enthusiasm and fervor. The event was marked by Aarti of goddess Durga & Traditional Garva performances. It was a delightful prelude to the forthcoming Navratri festival.

The Rotary Club of Bharuch Femina has consistently demonstrated its commitment to community service and fellowship, and this event was a testament to their dedication. As they came together to celebrate Ratri Before Navratri, the spirit of unity and camaraderie among the members shone brightly.

NATION BUILDER AWARD BY ROTARY CLUB OF BHARUCH FEMINA

The Rotary Club of Bharuch Femina, committed to recognizing excellence in education, presented the prestigious "Nation Builder Award" to government school teachers who have made remarkable contributions in the field of education. This award program aimed to honor and celebrate the dedication and hard work of these educators, whose efforts often go unrecognized. The Award function was held on 23rd September in Hotel Gangotri.

'Maid In Heaven' - A
Soft Skill Development Seminar For Peons & Other Grade IV Helpers

Rotary Club Of Bharuch Femina organized a unique Seminar called 'Maid in Heaven' on Soft Skill Development for the Grade IV workers/Helpers of Sanskar Vidya Bhavan on September 16, 2023. The Seminar was attended by President Rtn. Sharmila Das, Joint Secretary Rtn. Madhulika and other members. This Seminar was tailored to build a confident, competent, and cohesive team of Peons and Helping Staff.

Rtn. Nafisa Lokhandwala, a renowned & certified trainer conducted this seminar which aimed to empower these essential employees with crucial soft skills that can enhance their workplace effectiveness and interpersonal communication.
Throughout the interactive seminar, participants learnt valuable skills such as effective communication, health & hygiene, attire code, teamwork, time management, etc. These soft skills especially relevant for workers in various organisations, enable them to work more efficiently and collaboratively.

Rtn. Nafisa Lokhandwala brought a wealth of knowledge and practical insights to help attendees grasp these skills effectively. The seminar provided hands-on activities and real-life scenarios to practice and apply the learnt concepts. The Seminar would definitely help the participants to enhance their professional skills and contribute positively to the organizations they work with.

Gaushala visit & Medical Checkup of livestock

Rotary Club of Bharuch Femina conducted a comprehensive medical checkup and vaccination drive for cows at Anubhutidham, Bharuch on 21st August 2023.

President Rtn. Sharmila Das, Vice President Rtn. Geeta Patel, Joint Secretary Rtn. Madhulika Dasgupta, Amitaben Vasava along with two skilled veterinary doctors: Dr. Bhaskar Bhatt, a specialized gynecologist for animals and Dr. Manish Patel, a proficient general physician for veterinary cases; these dedicated professionals collaborated to provide essential medical checkups and vaccinations that contribute to the overall well-being of the cows.

Dr. Bhaskar Bhatt's specialization in gynecology enables him to address specific concerns related to breeding, pregnancy, and calving.

On the other hand, Dr. Manish Patel serves as a general physician for the cows, overseeing their general health and providing medical attention for various ailments.

Together, Dr. Bhaskar Bhatt and Dr. Manish Patel formed a dynamic veterinary team that offered a holistic approach to cow healthcare. By conducting regular medical checkups and administering necessary vaccinations, they contributed significantly to the health and productivity of the cow population in Anubhutidham.
