Ang Madad Foundation is a Non- governmental Organisation (NGO) established in 2013. Its mission is to work in remote regions ofseveral states in India. our selecting projects with infinite care, and working in areas that traditionally
overlooked by society at large.
Organisation is registered under Societies Registration Act 21,1860 & NITI Aayog. Its aim to make women & girls self- empowered by giving them free stiching & handicraft training. During natural disaster and epidemic, we distributes clothes, Medine
and relief products to needy ones. Our cultural event based on the theme of women empowerment, gandhian thoughts to encouragewomen to know their rights. Organisation have been working to uplift women with aim of “beti bachao,beti padhao”.
Bhagalpur alwaysbeen roit ridden area where woman also affected by it. Vandana Jha, secretary of our organisation with the help of their helpers not onlyconnecting Hindus and Muslims with her works, regardless of the forces of destruction, but is also making women skilled. she has trainedthousands of women and girls till now with our ogranisation initiative . These women have not only become financially strong now, but many women have also got employment available. Bhagalpur region has been a weavers-dominated area since its inception, but povertyand illiteracy remain here. After the riots, where people's dreams were shattered, Vandana Jha decided to established 'Ang Madad
Foundation' and took the initiative to make women self-reliant by starting a campaign of women empowerment. Vandana says, when shedecided to do social service, she was confused about starting it, but had to start somewhere. In such a situation, I started giving freeeducation to the poor children around. After this, she started teaching sewing-weaving to poor women and girls. Initially, the help ofcloth - hawkers had to be taken for this work. In such a situation, when women started coming, then the number of sewing machinesstarted decreasing. She tells that she has been doing the work of this free training with the help of people and many organizations.
we has been successful in conveying the message to the people of this area that womenthemselves can do good not only for the household but also for the society by being inspired by their own consciousness. our work hasbeen appreciated by many people including Rajyasabha deputy chairman
harivansh, BJP general secretary dushyant kumar gautam,Bihar ex -DGP Gupeshwar Pandey, Dr. Ramji Singh etc. Vandana believes that politics bringschanges in the society from above, but through social service, change can be brought within the society. Instead of begging for relief,efforts should be made to make people skilled.
