Today, we successfully concluded the 15-day internship program with students from Jambeswar College. During this journey, we explored several important themes, including Peace and Harmony, Menstrual Hygiene, Plastic-Free Communities, Environment Protection, Plantation Activities on World Environment Day, Climate Change, Child Rights and Related Laws, Healthy Living and Happiness, Say No to To***co, Good Nutrition, Cybercrime Awareness, Community Radio and the Importance of Communication, and the Role of Content Creation and Responsible Social Media Use.
The program provided an excellent opportunity for students to learn, interact, and understand real-life social issues and community development initiatives. Throughout these 15 days, students, the organization, and resource persons learned from one another, making this a truly enriching experience.
On the closing day, we were honored by the visit of the District Collector, Bhadrak, who interacted with the students and shared valuable insights on leadership, personal growth, and building a successful life. His inspiring examples and words of encouragement will surely motivate the students in their future endeavors.
We sincerely thank all the students of Jambeswar College for their active participation and enthusiasm. We are grateful to the DISHA team, Radio Bulbul team, and our Board Members for their continuous support and guidance.
A special thanks to the Bhadrak Police Department, the Women & Child Development Department, particularly the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), and Dr. Mohammed Imran Ali for sharing their expertise and supporting the learning process.
We hope the knowledge, values, and experiences gained during this internship will inspire the students to become responsible citizens and create positive change in their communities.
Thank you all for making this journey meaningful and memorable. 🙏🌱📻✨
