Sagar Rai pur is situated between Allahabad and varansi,just near to sita marhi and ganga river The people are mostly living here brahmins , Dhobi, harijan ,yadav etc , It was founded by Shukla Ji bade baba ji from Gorakhpur , who used to see a holy place Vindhyavasni mata mandir once a year through this unnamed village, He uesd to live at sunderpur in his route , and take rest at A lanlord or w

ell known zamidar palace of sunderpur , where He fell in love with king`s daughter and got married in vidhyavasni mandir without taking consent his parents ,

then he came back to his family (Gorakhpur),where His father shouted and expelled him from his home , then He came to Sunder pur with his wife , The king of sunderpur given him a huge vacant land to shuklaji baba , later this land is known as Sagar rai pur . Thanks for E-visiting of our village.
