On the occasion of International Women's Day, a program was organized in Phulgohan Panchayat of Ghodongri block to promote women's rights, equality and empowerment. The event was jointly organized by Phulgohan Panchayat and Ekta Graminjan Sahayog Sanstha Padhar, and its theme was 'to speed up action', which calls for rapid action towards gender equality. The main part of the program:
* Discussion on women's rights: The program was discussed in detailed discussion on the legal and social rights of women, in which they were made aware of their rights.
* Importance of equality: The importance of gender equality was highlighted and the need to promote equal behavior between women and men in society was emphasized.
* Women Empowerment: Women were encouraged to make women self -reliant and play an active role in society.
* Awareness Campaign: Women were made aware of education, health and employment opportunities in the program.
* Cultural Program: Cultural programs were also organized in the program, in which women demonstrated their talent. The purpose of the program:
* To make women aware of their rights.
* To promote gender equality in society.
* To empower women and make them self -reliant.
* To motivate women to play an active role in society. This program was an important step towards women empowerment and gender equality.
