ರೋಟರಿ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಬೆಳ್ತಂಗಡಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಆನ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಜತೆಯಾಗಿ ಇಂದು ವಿಶ್ವ ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಹಣ ದಿನದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಉಜಿರೆಯ ಹಿರಿಯ ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಾಹಕ,ಮಂಗಳಾ ಸ್ಟುಡಿಯೊ ಮಾಲಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಎ.ಸೋಮಶೇಖರ ರಾವ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಟರಿ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ರೊ.ಶ್ರೀಧರ ಕೆ.ವಿ, ರೊ.ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ ಜೈನ್ ,ಆನ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಆನ್ ರಾಜಶ್ರೀ ರಾವ್ , ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಆನ್ ಅಪರ್ಣಾ ವಾಟ್ವೆ, ಆನ್ ಸ್ಮಿತಾ ಜೈನ್, ,ಆನ್ ಪುನೀತಾ

🌟 Interact Club Inauguration – Vani Pre-University College, Belthangady 🌟

The new Interact Club of Vani Pre-University College, Belthangady was inaugurated today, 19 August 2026, in the presence of Rotarians, college authorities, staff and students.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by Rtn. Shrinath K. M., which set a warm and inspiring tone for the event. The proceedings were smoothly compered by Mr. Shankar Rao, who served as the Master of Ceremony (MC) for the programme.

The President and Office Bearers were formally installed by Rtn. PHF Shridhar K. V., followed by the oath-taking ceremony conducted by Rtn. Praveen Gore, Chairman – New Generation.

The programme also included an address by the Installing Officer, followed by best wishes from the Principal, Mr. Vishnu Prasad M, who encouraged the students to actively participate in service and leadership activities. The event also featured the honouring of academic toppers. During the felicitation segment, Rtn. Dr. Raghavendra Pidamale along with other dignitaries felicitated the student achievers. Rtn. Sandesh Rao, Past Secretary of Rotary Club Belthangady, was also present during the programme, adding to the significance of the occasion.

A meaningful awareness session on “Drug Abuse & Social Media Awareness” was conducted by Ann. Pavithra Sandesh, creating valuable awareness among the students.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಕುಮಾರಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾರ್ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಓಬಯ್ಯ ಗೌಡ ಅವರು ಬಂದಂತಹ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಅಯಾ ಆರ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ.ಗಳ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರುಗಳು ಕಳೆದ ಸಾಲಿನ ವರದಿ ವಾಚಿಸಿದರು ನಂತರ ಪದಗ್ರಹಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯಿತು
ರೊ.ಕಿರಣ್ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾರ್ ಅವರು ಹೊಸ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಹೆಸರು ವಾಚಿಸಿದರು. ಆರ್.ಸಿ .ಸಿ ಯ ಹೊಸ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಮುಂಡಾಜೆಯ ರಂಗನಾಥ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾರ್, ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪುಷ್ಪಾ ಬಿ.ಎಂ, , ಆರ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ.ಕಲ್ಮಂಜದ ಹೊಸ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ರಾವ್ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವಸಂತಿ,ಆರ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ ಚಾರ್ಮಾಡಿ ಕಕ್ಕಿಂಜೆಯ ಹೊಸ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಗೋಪಾಲಕೃಷ್ಣ ಗೌಡ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಯಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಿನ್ಸ್ ಥಾಮಸ್, ಆರ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ ನೆರಿಯಾ ದ ಹೊಸ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಆನಂದ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಾಲಕೃಷ್ಣ ಗೌಡ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು.
ನಂತರ ಪದಗ್ರಹಣ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಆರ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ.ಯ ವಲಯ ಸಚಾಲಕರಾದ ರೊ ಸಂದೇಶ ರಾವ್ ಅವರು ಹೊಸ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ರೊ ಶ್ರೀಧರ ಕೆ.ವಿ ಅವರು ತನ್ನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಡಿದರು ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ರೊ.ಡಾ.ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಪಿದಮಲೆ ಅವರು ರೋಟರಿ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಬೆಳ್ರಂಗಡಿ ಸದಾ ಆರ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಬಲ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದರು .ಬೆಳ್ತಂಗಡಿ ರೋಟರಿಯ ಆರ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ.ಚೇರ್ ಮೇನ್ ರೊ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ವರ ಭಟ್ ಅವರು ಇಂದಿನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ನೇತೃತ್ವ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ರೊ.ಅಡೂರು ವೆಂಕಟ್ರಾಯ, ರೊ ಮೆ.ಜ.(ರಿ) ಎಂ.ವಿ.ಭಟ್, ರೊ ಅನಂತ ಭಟ್ ಮಚ್ಚಿಮಲೆ, ರೊ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ ಫ್ರಭು ರೊ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ ನಾರಾಯಣ್ , ಆನ್ ಸಂಧ್ಯಾ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾರ್ , ಆನ್ ಅಖಿಲಾ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಮತ್ತಿತ್ತರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಕು.ಸಹನಾ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾರ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸದರೆ. ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರಂಜನಿ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು

ಬೆನಕ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್, ಬೆನಕ ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್, ರೋಟರಿ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಬೆಳ್ತಂಗಡಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಆ್ಯನ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಬೆಳ್ತಂಗಡಿ ಇವರ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಚಿತ ಬಂಜೆತನ ನಿವಾರಣಾ ಶಿಬಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಇಂದು ಬೆನಕ ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್, ಉಜಿರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.

Dear Rotarians,

Three meaningful programs were successfully conducted at SDM English Medium School (State), Ujire, promoting leadership, academic excellence, and financial awareness among students.

1. *Installation Ceremony* of the Interact Club (2026–27)

The Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club was held with great enthusiasm. Rtn. Jagadish Prasad graced the occasion as the Installation Officer.

The program commenced with the presentation of the Annual Report by the outgoing President, highlighting the club's achievements during the previous year. Rtn. Jagadish Prasad then formally installed the new office bearers for the Interact Year 2026–27.

The newly installed President, Adwiti, shared the club's vision and plans for the year ahead. In his inspiring address, Rtn. Jagadish Prasad emphasized the significance of the Interact movement, the value of learning the spirit of service at a young age, and the importance of applying these values in everyday life. The Headmistress congratulated the newly elected team and encouraged them to lead with dedication and commitment. The program concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by the newly elected Secretary, Akshar.

2. *Felicitation of Academic Toppers*

To encourage and recognize academic excellence, the Rotary Club felicitated the first and second rank holders of Classes 7, 8, and 9.

The students were congratulated for their outstanding performance and encouraged to continue their hard work, pursue excellence, and bring greater laurels to their school.

3. Session on *Financial Literacy* for Students

Ann. Aparna Watwe conducted an informative and engaging session on "Financial Literacy for Students." She highlighted the importance of developing financial awareness from an early age and explained how basic financial knowledge can help students make responsible decisions throughout their lives.

Through practical examples, she spoke about the importance of saving, budgeting, distinguishing between needs and wants, and developing good financial habits. The interactive session encouraged students to think about money management and inspired them to build a strong financial foundation for the future.

We sincerely thank the school management, teachers, and all the Rotarians and Anns who contributed to the success of these three impactful programs. Together, we continue to nurture young leaders, celebrate academic excellence, and equip students with essential life skills.
