From village paths to starry skies ✨

From 14–16 November 2025, Agastya Foundation’s Parichaya workshop in Belagavi brought together over 100 government school children from Goodihal, Goramatti and Ninghenatti for three days of art, nature walks, theatre and sky‑gazing.​
Children painted with soil and leaves, spotted birds through binoculars, watched the rings of Saturn through a telescope, and rediscovered pride in their village and landscape.​

Grateful to all our artists, theatre facilitators, educators, partners and community members who made these moments possible.​

Agastya Foundation presents “Parchiya,” a creative learning workshop for government school children.

Sitar prodigy Anagha Shukatankar will perform exclusively on the 14th of November to inspire the young souls and mark the first day of this exciting workshop.

Growing with Mother Nature

We welcomed three young interns from Janapada Seva Trust for a 15-day journey at Kaalmari Studio — a journey that went beyond classrooms and textbooks.

Here, learning meant living. From wool craft and rural living to storytelling through art, they immersed themselves in the rhythms of nature and community life. They shaped sun symbols, crafted wild animal toys, wandered on night nature trails, and captured the world in early morning sketches.

In just two weeks, they didn’t just pick up skills — they discovered the joy of making, the beauty of slow living, and the power of creativity rooted in the land.

They didn’t just learn.
They lived it.
