A 25-day free Design and Technology Development Workshop (DDW) was organized by Gnyan Jyoti Grameena Abhivrudhhi Samsthe, Belagavi, and sponsored by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, Dharwad. Under the Skill Development in Handicrafts Sector – National Handicrafts Development Program (NHDP) for the year 2025–26, the workshop aimed to provide specialized training in Terracotta Jewellery Craft to 30 handicraft artisans at Vadagaon Bazar Galli, Belagavi District, Karnataka.
The training was conducted from 15th November 2025 to 9th December 2025, equipping artisans with enhanced design skills, technical knowledge, and improved livelihood opportunities. The program was successfully implemented by Gnyan Jyoti Grameena Abhivrudhhi Samsthe, Belagavi.
