Vathsalya Charitable Trust Vathsalya Charitable Trust is a non-profit organization working towards family preservation.

We focus on Child Development (education & nutrition), Education Sponsorships, and supporting migrant parents through upskilling and counselling. Vathsalya Charitable Trust is a non-profit, non-government organization, registered in 1988. For over 30 years, Vathsalya placed over a thousand children into loving homes, through their adoption and foster care programmes. The organization’s vision then

progressed from child welfare to child development, with the key focus areas being education, nutrition, parenting and training. The Trust, located in Bangalore, India, houses a day care facility and informal school for migrant children and children with special needs. Other activities include an education sponsorship programme for underprivileged girls, medical and special care center, village outreach programmes and parental counselling and training.

What an empowering day at “Navigating Resistance: Building Skills for Women Entrepreneurs to Thrive” hosted by at Vatsalya Charitable Trust, Kalyan Nagar!

With the incredible Dr. Radhika Jain, we explored practical life skills and engaged in theatre-based activities that sparked problem-solving, decision-making & communication breakthroughs.

Lights. Play. Fun!!

Our VCT children visited Fun City at Phoenix Market City for a day full of fun and games.

From sport-inspired games like basket ball to console controlled interactions, from participating in virtual races to teaming up to conquer mechanical playstations, the children enjoyed them all!


Their day of fun ended with a special lunch - delicious wood fire pizzas.

Special thanks to (The Pizza Bakery), (Royal Concorde International School), and (Funcity) for making this trip so much more exciting and memorable……..

Our little Bunnies are ready to hop!!🤩👩‍🎓👨‍🎓

This 21st and 25th March, Vathsalya Charitable Trust witnessed the graduation ceremony of the eldest children enrolled in our Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) programme at the Hebbal and Kalyan Nagar Centres respectively.

Our little ones are now old enough to go out into the world, become part of mainstream schools, and embark on the journey that will ultimately reshape their destinies.

At Vathsalya’s Child Development Centre, we strive to educate children from underserved communities, offering a chance for them to grow and thrive despite their circumstances. They are not only taught to read and write, but are also provided with opportunities to sharpen their motor skills, sensory perception, values, and essential life skills. This year, we are so proud of the young ones who have successfully completed the journey they began 6 years ago.

We wish them all the best for the future!
