It is a Non-Profit Non-Government Organization registered under the West Bengal Society registration Act XXVI of 1961, Government of West Bengal. The objectives for which the society is established are :
a) To establish, acquire, start, aid, run, maintain or manage educational institutes, libraries for
the benefit of the public. To set up, run and manage Nursery Schools, Primary Schools, Secondar
y and Higher
Secondary Schools, Technical Schools or Institutes and Vocational Training Centre or related institutes to be affiliated under Govt. Also May establish and run different type of Institutes or Colleges or Universities (Engineering & Technological or allied, Medical, Bio-Medical or allied, General Stream, Management, Vocational Courses) to promote true education by cultivation of totality among students. b) To set up computer centers, laboratories to spread Computer Literacy and up gradation of
Knowledge and skills in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology. c) To establish laboratories and research centers for the cultivation of totality in the area of Science, Technology, Culture and Humanities. d) To arrange and organize lectures, debates, discussions, seminars and excursions for the
diffusion of knowledge and advancement of human civilization. e) To publish or cause to be published useful literature, magazines, news papers etc. f) To study, cultivate and demonstrate the art of music and dancing. g) To promote and encourage advancement of literacy, cultural, spiritual and scientific
education. h) To help and assist the needy & poor students, physically challenged or orphan of all
communities for the progress of studies and livelihood. i) To help the aged, sick, helpless and indigent persons in the society. j) To work for the happiness of the down trodden needy people for their primary needs such as food, cloth, education and shelter etc. k) To import and develop social awareness among the illiterate women and men by organizing awareness camps from time to time. l) To organize ambulance for free rendering services to the needy patients. m) To establish and maintain the basic and Adult Education centers to remove illiteracy. n) To organize, run and manage projects on environment and environmental pollution. o) To open, organize and manage charitable dispensaries , first aid centre, blood donation
camps from time to time and to generate awareness among people regarding thalasimia, cancer and HIV /AIDS , STD, TB etc. p) To render relief to the victims of suffering in time of famine, flood, drought, earthquake,
cyclones, and other natural calamities. q) To promote awareness about environment and to arrange tree plantation in the localities to
combat pollutions and beautification of public places, road sides etc. r) To help, promote and organize Self Help Group( SHG) based programme for augmentation of the livelihood opportunities of the people at the grass root level as being beneficial to the public and society. s) To arrange and organize old-age-home and orphanage to help the needy people of the society without profit motive. t) To arrange for medical treatment to the distressed people and those who are physically
challenged by rendering qualified doctors, medicines and other allied articles free of cost . u) To help poor people in marriage, funeral and cremation of the dead. v) To publish news letters, journals and magazines periodically from the society. w) To organize, manage and set up for programme and courses on water quality management . x) To conduct and promote training on rowing and swimming and marine awareness. y) To conduct and promote different sports and yoga centre for the benefit of the public and society. z) To help mentally challenged people for their treatment and well being.
